It looks like the stylish star made her subtle streaks more intense! Do you like her hot pink hair or is it just too much? Lauren Conrad, 26, debuted a dip-dyed light pink 'do back in January, and it seems she's sticking with look—and even intensifying it! At a book signing for her new novel, The Fame Game, in Los Angeles, Calif. on April 24 the former reality star donned an adorable high ponytail—with neon pink ends! Lauren's retro pony is a definite "do!" The swing-y, high style is perfect for summer, especially when you want to get your strands off your face in a chic way, but her shocking pink ends seem a little un-Lauren like. Maybe it's a faze, but hopefully she'll go back to her roots! What do you think HollywoodLifers? Do you like Lauren's pink strands? Or should she tone them down? Sound off below! --...

The Hunger Games has been doing quite well for itself at the box office, so our interest was piqued when we found out that celebrity photographer Tyler Shields took some images of three of its stars last year: Kalia Prescott, Leven Rambin, and Josh Hutcherson. On April 21, Hutcherson will be the youngest person ever to receive the 2012 GLAAD Vanguard Award in Los Angeles for his work as a Glbt ally. We're glad that the 19-year-old -- who plays Peeta Mellark in "The Hunger Games" -- is putting his fame toward a good cause, though you can see from the pictures below that he also likes to play the hard-boiled tough guy role, too.
Shields new exhibition,"Mouthful," opens on May 20th at Ace Gallery in Los Angeles. We asked the photographer some questions about his work, and his answers are below. Scroll down for images from his latest exhibition.

With brains, beauty and a killer business sense, Lauren Conrad is the total package. But, even the MTV golden girl feels insecure about her body at times. Read on to find out why! Lauren Conrad is certainly no stranger to the spotlight! The 26-year-old reality starlet has been in the public eye for nearly a decade, but still has hang-ups about her body like any other normal girl. "A couple years ago someone zoomed in on my cellulite and it as so mean," Lauren confided in the new issue of Glamour. "I took it really personally." Though many would argue that the California blonde has a body to die for, Lauren refused to wear a bathing suit for years after the earlier incident. "I haven't met a a woman without insecurities," she explained. But luckily, the budding fashion designer has found a way to improve her self-image. "You just have...

Although it was widely reported last June that Lionsgate intended to split Mockingjay, the third book in Suzanne Collins' The Hunger Games trilogy, into two films, Nina Jacobson, the producer who has been credited with discovering the series, says that decision is "not set in stone" and they are "still figuring it all out."
While those early reports of turning the series of three books into four eventual movies involved splitting Mockingjay in two, similar to what was done with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Jacobson told MTV during The Hunger Games' premiere this past Monday that the decision will depend on the reception of the first film, set for release next week. "Hopefully, people love this movie enough to demand the next one," she said. "Go make that one. Figure out what to do from there."

Wait a second! Isn't the U.S. supposed to be the one with the crazy uptight stick up its ass when it comes to cinema content?!? The UK is Always stealing our thunder, damn it!
According to Variety, Lionsgate U.K. has opted to shave seven seconds off Gary Ross' adaptation of The Hunger Games for Brit audiences in order to achieve a 12A classification in the territory.
The film, which has received a PG-13 rating in the U.S. from the MPAA, was originally given an uncut 15 certificate from the British Board of Film Classification, but Lionsgate was keen to "achieve a particular category" to reach a wider audience in the U.K.

If you’re scratching your head over that last part of the headline: We’ve heard from various sources that The Hunger Games will in fact run for a tiring 142 minutes. Hey, if they’ve got a lot of story to tell…
Discounting this bizarre facet, the past week or so has found yours truly changing his tune on The Hunger Games, with there even being a small leap from “complete and total lack of interest” to “a smidge interest on account of good buzz.” Such minor feelings of affection are more or less sustained by Lionsgate’s new clip, in which Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) takes up a bow & arrow (in what others describe as a training process for the titular competition) and shows off some skills to the Capitol brass by way of an unlucky apple.

Lionsgate has revealed the first clip from The Hunger Games as Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) shows off her talent as an archer. As I mentioned earlier today, The Hunger Games has reportedly been tracking quite well and the folks at Lionsgate are expecting big things from the adaptation of Suzanne Collins' novel, upwards of a $70 million opening weekend good. The film hits theaters on March 23 and along with Lawrence the cast includes the likes of Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Dayo Okeniyi, Amandla Stenberg, Elizabeth Banks, Leven Rambin, Jack Quaid, Willow Shields, Paula Malcomson, Ian Nelson, Kalia Prescott, Stanley Tucci, Woody Harrelson, Lenny Kravitz, Donald Sutherland and Wes Bentley, the latter of which plays Seneca Crane, Head Gamemaker for the 74th Hunger Games, and is featured in the following clip.

Even though the film doesn’t open for another month, The Hunger Games' first-day ticket sales on Wednesday, February 22, broke the previous first-day advance ticket-seller record set by The Twilight Saga: Eclipse on Friday, May 14, 2010.

A brand new trailer has been released via Yahoo! Movies for the highly anticipated big screen adaptation of The Hunger Games directed by Gary Ross.
Every year in the ruins of what was once North America, the evil Capitol of the nation of Panem forces each of its twelve districts to send a teenage boy and girl to compete in the Hunger Games. A twisted punishment for a past uprising and an ongoing government intimidation tactic, The Hunger Games are a nationally televised event in which “Tributes” must fight with one another until one survivor remains.
Pitted against highly-trained Tributes who have prepared for these Games their entire lives, Katniss is forced to rely upon her sharp instincts as well as the mentorship of drunken former victor Haymitch Abernathy. If she’s ever to return home to District 12, Katniss must make impossible choices in the arena that weigh survival against humanity and life against love.

Following the announcement that it would get a one-week run in IMAX, Lionsgate has a new, quick tease at The Hunger Games. The latest trailer for Gary Ross‘ adaptation of Suzanne Collins‘ bestseller goes beyond just the set-up of the first one, showing Jennifer Lawrence getting in more treacherous situations and surroundings. I’m still not sold here, but some of the location design is appealing, including a futuristic train shot by what looks to be a dam. Fans should be pleased though and can see it below via Yahoo for the film also starring Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Wes Bentley and Elizabeth Banks.

Combining this latest poster and a new picture from EW, the anticipation for Gary Ross‘ The Hunger Games has been at a fever pitch for what seems like forever now, and with the movie nearing its release date, Lionsgate is continuing to release more promotional materials. Lionsgate has released a brand new photo, released exclusively through Entertainment Weekly, from the highly anticipated film adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ The Hunger Games, directed by Gary Ross. The new still gives us our first look at both Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) in their District 12 training outfits.

It may be considered the newest darling of the tweener crowd, but so far everything we've seen from The Hunger Games film adaptation has looked pretty promising, including this latest bit of promo in the form of an ad for China Glaze's "Capitol Colours" series of nail polishes featuring Elizabeth Banks' character, District 12 escort Effie Trinket.
MTV provides our first look at the ad and explains it as follows:
Just look at Ms. Trinket in this photo! Her perfectly curled hair is a very soft shade of pink, further accented by a purple headpiece and a fuchsia top. Effie’s makeup is equally bold, with hot pink eyeshadow above and below her eyes, plus matching lipstick (not to mention those feather-like adornments on her eyelashes). The ad features small swatches of what we presume to be the official 12 colors to be launched as part of the “Capitol Colours” line,...

Hot on the heels of releasing the official trailer for The Hunger Games, Lionsgate has provided People Magazine with a few new stills from the film. In addition, we've heard some rumblings about the studio already attempting to lock in a writer for the sequel, entitled Catching Fire.
Per Deadline Lionsgate is courting Oscar-winning Slumdog Millionaire and 127 Hours scribe Simon Beaufoy to write Catching Fire, the second installment of the three-book series that tracks the life and death adventures of Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence). It also looks like Gary Ross, who directed The Hunger Games, is coming back for the sequel. Ross originally intended to write the outline for the second film and script it with author Suzanne Collins (they teamed to do a lot of writing on the first film), but the post-production schedule on The Hunger Games has made that difficult. There is no start date on the sequel,...
