Keanu Reeves is steering into a new direction with upcoming Hulu series “Brawn: The Impossible Formula One Story.”
A U.K. Original series, “Brawn” will debut on Disney+ globally outside of the U.S. and on Hulu stateside. The four-part docuseries sees “John Wick” star Reeves dive deeper into the 2009 Formula 1 World Championship that saw an underdog team win big.
In 2009, competing in the most expensive and technologically advanced racing series on Earth, the impossible happened. An understaffed, under-financed, and independent team won the World Championship — with a team that cost just one euro.
“Brawn” features interviews with those involved in the championship, including exclusive F1 archival footage that has been previously unseen. British F1 drivers Jenson Button and Ross Brawn, who both led the team to victory, appear in the series alongside Reeves.

Disney+ has unveiled an eclectic slate of five new U.K. unscripted originals spanning a broad range of talent and topics from Keanu Reeves to arguably the most talked about U.K. trial in years.
Wagatha Christie (working title), produced by Lorton Street Entertainment in association with Dorothy Street Pictures, will be uncovering one of the biggest tabloid news stories in Britain over the last decade, revealing how Coleen Rooney, wife of soccer star Wayne Rooney, turned amateur sleuth to reveal who had been leaking private stories to the press, and the high-profile defamation case brought against her by fellow footballer’s wife Rebekah Vardy. In something of a coup for Disney+, the three-part series will be told through exclusive access to Rooney, alongside interviews with family, friends and key players involved in the trial.

Following two good documentaries about McLaren and Williams, Daryl Goodrich’s film rather limps in, with almost no examination of Enzo Ferrari – man, car or logo
This very authorised-seeming Formula One documentary pulls up third behind recent films on the McLaren and Williams empires, which may explain why it often seems in such a rush. Of car company founder Enzo Ferrari himself, for one, there is next to naught: nothing on where he came from or how he got into the sport, just gnomic audioclips, choice onscreen quotes and biographical titbits that outline some vague philosophy about testing oneself against unknown forces.
The focus is almost exclusively on his star employees – those corner-cutting gadabouts of the company’s late 50s golden age – allowing director Daryl Goodrich to unspool reels of gleaming Kodachrome images of drivers in their trackside pomp. Where August’s probing Williams did so much to separate the...

Exclusive: In The Loop and Coriolanus producers team with Embankment Films.
Producers Kevin Loader (The Lady in the Van, In The Loop) and Julia Taylor-Stanley (Coriolanus) have joined forces with Embankment Films to tell the story behind the iconic Ferrari motor racing team of the late 1950s.
Ferrari: Race To Immortality, which is currently in production, will chart the story of one of the greatest decades in motor racing history.
Enzo Ferrari was the complex visionary whose obsessions and passions knew no limits – winning was everything and his drivers would pay the ultimate price. Collins, Hawthorn, Musso and de Portago all pushed themselves to the limit with fatal consequenses.
The film will use re-creation, first-hand accounts and archive material to tell the story of the one of greatest teams of drivers ever assembled – Ferrari’s La Scuderia – considered gladiators of motor sport.
