Exclusive: Canadian producer Pier 21 Films, set up by former eOne Television chief Laszlo Barna, is to adapt A Good Wife: Escaping The Life I Never Chose, the story of a teen bride being forced to move to Canada, into a television series.
The company has optioned A Good Wife: Escaping The Life I Never Chose, written by Samra Zafar with Meg Masters and published by HarpersCollins Canada in March.
The book tells Zafar’s story; at sixteen, she had big dreams. She was going to go to university and forge her own path. Then, with almost no warning, those dreams were snatched away when she was suddenly married to a stranger at seventeen and had to leave behind her family in Pakistan and move to Canada. Her new husband and his family vowed that the marriage and the move would be a fulfillment of her dream, not a betrayal of it.

It's finally here. The Dino Dana TV show will premiere in the Us and UK on Amazon Prime video on May 26, 2017. The pre-schoolers TV series comes from J.J. Johnson, creator of the Dino Dan series. Amazon originally ordered it to series, back in November of 2015.A live-action and CGI hybrid, Dino Dana is a sequel to Dino Dan: Trek's Adventures. People flocked Saturday evening of April 30th in their finest saris and suits to experience a new of kind show. A show with a fresh and innovative concept.Thirty two actors of FenStar Productions along with Event Concepts & Ethni Media mingled throughout the crowd in full character over food and drinks. The attending guests gleefully took part as well, interacting with the bubbly cast members over typical masala gossip, neighborly fights and Aunty.s trying to get their eligible sons married off to pretty young women. Although at first hesitant, guests including myself slowly fell into the mold of talking to the actors playing their character roles. The whole concept of the show was to, .create a new way for people to watch theater,. said the producer and main actress, Fenulla Jiwani.The show started off with a cocktail hour, held under a beautiful ornate chandelier encrusted room.
