Lauren fell in love with visual storytelling at a young age as a ballet dancer, excited to inhabit another world on the stage. Rhythm, patterns in choreography, and spatial relationships in dance still influence her approach to design. She earned a BFA in Scenic Design for theatre at the Conservatory for Theatre Arts and Film at SUNY Purchase. Upon graduating in 2004 she moved to NYC and began her career by Art Directing and Asst. Art Directing for TV and film.
She lives under the Hollywood Sign and also works as a local in New York. She is represented by the Gersh Agency and is a member of the Art Directors Guild 800 and USA 829.
