Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s “The Titan Games” debuts its second season Monday, an installment that features former New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz among the six pro-athlete competitors that the show’s “everyday” contestants go head-to-head with in hopes of winning the “Titan Champion” title and a $100,000 prize.
Fans could smell the new level of intensity The Rock was cooking up for Season 2 of his NBC competition series when he announced the addition of elite athletes — including Cruz, Claressa Shields, Joe Thomas, Cruz, Hannah Teter, Jessie Graff and Tyron Woodley — as an obstacle for “The Titan Games'” amateur contestants. And if the everyday people vs. pros aspect, a pro-wrestling legend as host, and a humongous set piece for the final challenge made you draw a comparison between The Rock’s series and the network’s short-lived Hulk Hogan-hosted “American Gladiators” reboot, Cruz is here to vouch for how different the two are.

Knowing that the "Sonny With a Chance" beauty was also invited to the 2010 Do Something Awards on Monday evening, July 19, the 20-year-old heartthrob has reportedly avoided any chance to brush shoulders with her at the VH1-televised event.

With her second-place finish at the Vancouver Olympics in last week's women's halfpipe snowboard event, Hannah Teter now has medals in two colors: gold and silver. But if they were to design an award just for her, the color would have to be green. "I went out last week and bought $200 worth of flowers and put them in my room by my bed - roses, lilies and lilacs," the earthy Teter, 23, tells People. "When you surround yourself with nature, it's really powerful. Everything makes a difference." She doesn't just surround herself with it, Teter reveals she's a vegetarian and puts...

In the interest in leaving the figure skating coverage to Mandi -- and getting another non-American up in here! -- Day 7's Olympic Stud is Australian snowboarder Torah Bright, who won Australia's first gold in last night's Women's Halfpipe finals. She's so studly because she pulled off the winning run -- including the switch-backside 720, a trick attempted by few men -- after scoring a ridiculous 5.9 in the first heat. Ranking last earlier meant she had to go first later, so while everyone else tried their best to challenge Torah's smiley energy and "I don't need to naturally favor nothin'!'" technique,...

Less than an hour 'til the prime time Olympics. Let's trip out! But wait: For which mesmerizing, kinda druggy At&T Olympics commercial are we in the mood? Is it the one set to The xx's "Intro," featuring ballroom dancing expert and Olympic Stud of Day 2 Apolo Ohno cutting grooves into a spinning "record" of ice? Or is it Gretchen Bleiler's snowboarding space odyssey set to Lou Reed's "Perfect Day"? Both are my favorite commercials of the Olympics so far -- I love the idea of chilled-out tunes paired with speedy sports. For me, snowboarding in space has...

To keep it on or take it off? That is the question women Olympians face every four years, when the offers pour in to pose in swimsuits - or even less. This winter is no exception. But America's two Lindseys - snowboard cross star Jacobellis, 24, and alpine skier Vonn, 25 - are on different courses when it comes to sexy photo shoots. "I don't think I would do that now," Jacobellis, who goes for the gold Tuesday, told People in Vancouver. "I get way too many little girls who are crazy about snowboarding coming up to me, asking for autographs and advice,...

Eight ladies who can tough it out in the snow make up the Women's Us Team for the 2010 Winter Olympics.
Lindsey Jacobellis is the first face in the preview video below. She won the silver medal in women's snowboard cross in 2006. She might have gotten the gold since she had a three-second lead over her competitor, but she decided to showboat with an unnecessary method grab on her last jump that caused her to mess up her landing and fall. That's got to sting. Here's hoping she can get the gold this time around.
Kelly Clark is also a member of the team. She won a gold for the women's halfpipe in the 2002 Winter Olympics, but didn't place in 2006 in Italy. Instead, she lost out to the following two teammates.

Kate and Laura Mulleavy, the designing sisters behind the ethereal Rodarte line, usually get press for dressing trendsetters such as Keira Knightley, Kristen Dunst, Milla Jovovich, Emma Watson and Natalie Portman.
But the designers accepted a challenge from the New York Times Sunday magazine to design activewear for 13 Olympic athletes competing in Vancouver for an upcoming photo spread in the Nyt's Sunday magazine.
According to Wwd, Johnny Weir was shot mid-spin in a colorful crocheted jumpsuit (left).
We might consider taking up snowboarding or skiing if we could wear cool Rodarte duds.
Other models include figure skater Evan Lysacek, Rachael Flatt, and pairs skaters Keauna McLaughlin and Rockne Brubaker; freestyle skiers Jeret "Speedy" Peterson, Hannah Kearney and Emily Cook; snowboarders Hannah Teter and Kelly Clark, and ski jumper Anders Johnson.
