The powerhouse team behind Glee is shaking things up a bit for Season 3, according to TVLine, so we’ll soon find out if others have the magic touch.
Co-creators/executive producers Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan have written every episode of Glee’s first two seasons, but they’ve finally decided to trust their baby with others… and they might accidentally get a life now that they’ll actually have some free time.
Making themselves comfortable at the writing table will be Chuck and No Ordinary Family’s Allison Adler coming onboard as co-executive producer, with a new co-producer spot being filled by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, the guy who might have single-handedly saved the Spiderman: Turn Off the Dark musical with a last-minute re-write.
Meanwhile, Marti Noxon, who had a hand in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, joins Michael Hitchcock as consulting producers. Matt Hodgson and Ross Maxwell...

After two seasons of penning every single episode of "Glee" themselves, show-runners Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan have hired a writing staff.
And not just any writers, but seasoned vets including Allison Adler ("Chuck," "No Ordinary Family"), "Spider-man: Turn Off the Dark" re-writer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, Marti Noxon ("Buffy," "Angel"), Michael Hitchcock (who guest-starred on season one), Matt Hodgson and Ross Maxwell.
How will the mix affect what we see on the screen? Here's to hoping it brings a little cohesion back to the story line. Season 2 wavered a bit in that department although kick-butt performances (and A-list guest stars) helped soften the blow.

Hollywoodnews.com: The writing room of Fox’s smash hit “Glee” is getting an injection of creativity as it prepares for its third season.
Six new writers have been added to the “Glee” staff leading into the next season, which begins with brainstorming sessions on Monday. Allison Adler, Marti Noxon, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, Michael Hitchcock, Matt Hodgson and Ross Maxwell have been hired to bring fresh ideas to “Glee,” joining executive producers Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan. THR reports.
Murphy told the trade that their focus will be on lengthy character arcs, which fans seem to respond to.
“Last year you had the baby story line that everyone could follow and this year we didn’t do that,” he told THR. “Next year we’re going to be doing that more. What I have learned from this season is I think people want story arcs.

'Glee' has finally gotten itself a writing staff! While more cooks in the kitchen generally doesn't equal a better product, we have hopes for this staffing change, especially with the talent they're bringing on board.
According to Deadline, 'Glee' co-creators Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan will be joined by 'Chuck' producer Allison Adler as co-executive producer.
Comic book scribe and playwright Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa will serve as co-producer and 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' veteran Marti Noxon and writer/actor Michael Hitchcock will be consulting producers.
Matt Hodgson, formerly a script supervisor on the Fox comedy, and Ross Maxwell will serve as staff writers.
