Jose Antonio Guayasamin, 1979, Riobamba. Ecuador.
Filmmaker and Editor, he graduated at E.N.E.R.C. and at the Filmmaking Professional School of Subiela, Argentina. He participated in many international festivals with his short films "Nuna Potosi" and "Baltazar Ushka, the frozen time", winning the SIGNIS award of 2006 in Ecuador and the Espiello Choben Award of 2011 in Spain. His first full-length documentary film "Carlitos" won the Selection Process of the Ecuadorian National Council of Cinema for production, post-production and distribution. While he had his own production company, he directed and produced more than 90 TV programs. He develops independent and commercial film projects as director, producer and editor.
