Susan Zirinsky, the former CBS News chief and longtime leader of its “48 Hours,” is refashioning herself as a streaming-video maven.
Zirinsky will lead the new See It Now Studios, a new production unit that will create news, documentary and unscripted programming for the Paramount Plus streaming-video hub, the CBS broadcast network and other networks owned by parent company ViacomCBS. Zirinsky will serve as president of the new division and report directly to George Cheeks, president and CEO of CBS, and chief content officer of news and sports programming for Paramount Plus. President Trump told a chief investigator in Georgia if they could “find the fraud” in the presidential election, it would make them a “national hero,” according to a source familiar with the call who spoke to the Washington Post’s Amy Gardner on the condition on anonymity.
Trump, who lost the state by almost 12,000 votes, placed the call just before Christmas, while Georgia was auditing signature matches on absentee ballots in Cobb County. Deputy Secretary of State Jordan Fuchs confirmed the call took place to ABC News: “The secretary...

In an hour-long phone call, President Donald Trump sought to pressure Georgia’s secretary of state Brad Raffensperger to “find 11,780 votes,” or enough that would swing the state in his favor.
The audio of the call was first obtained by The Washington Post and its national political reporter Amy Gardner, and it quickly triggered concern and outrage over the president’s attempts to overturn the results of the presidential race, even as states have certified the results and courts more 50 times have rejected claims by Trump and his allies.
In the call, Trump tells Raffensperger that, even though the state has conducted two recounts and certified the results in favor of Joe Biden, there would be “nothing wrong” with him “saying, you know, that you’ve recalculated.”
“Well, Mr. President, the challenge that you have is, the data you have is wrong,” Raffensperger responded.

Most of Aaron Sorkin’s professional life has been spent making political debates — both personal and public — into poetically entertaining and informative exchanges. In “The West Wing,” he did it every week. Josh and Toby would fight it out until one was proven the victor or a compromise was reached. In “The Newsroom,” Will McAvoy would lambaste politicians, and his reports would often lead to various ethical conversations with his staff.
The point is, Aaron Sorkin knows a thing or two about winning a debate, and our current presidential candidates could learn from his work. We’ve examined the most pertinent examples of debate procedures, and the points below represent key strategies for winning a verbal battle. Apply them wisely.

A new trailer for gritty urban drama Honeytrap has launched exclusively on Digital Spy.
Written and directed by Rebecca Johnson, the film stars Skins actress Jessica Sula in her movie debut as 15-year-old Layla, a girl who sets up the murder of a boy who is in love with her.
"Jess stood out for her intensity - a sort of understated intensity, which was always there, even when she was doing very little," said Johnson .
"She understood both sides of Layla and how important it would be to balance them - the vulnerability and the shield of hardness she is trying to create for herself.
"She was absolutely committed; I could tell that immediately even though she was so young, and I knew I could trust her."
Sula said: "I think Honeytrap will surprise people because it's a very different film than we're used to seeing in terms of urban films.
