Ralph Fiennes has revealed the first two parts of the ’28 Years Later’ trilogy have been filmed. The 61-year-old actor stars as a doctor in the upcoming zombie-apocalypse movie - which itself is a sequel to Danny Boyle’s 2002 flick ’28 Days Later’ and Juan Carlos Fresnadillo’s ’28 Weeks Later’ in 2007 - and now Fiennes has shared the first two flicks have already completed production. Speaking with IndieWire, he said: "It’s three films, of which two have been shot."The ‘Harry Potter’ star detailed the plot of the next movie, which sees director/writer duo Danny Boyle and Alex Garland return to the series after sitting out ’28 Weeks Later’. Fiennes said: "Britain is 28 years into this terrible plague of infected people who are violent, rabid humans with a few pockets of uninfected communities. And it centres on a young boy who wants to find a doctor to help his dying mother.

Production wrapped on 28 Years Later earlier this year, with that set to be the first instalment of a planned trilogy picking up after the events of Danny Boyle's 28 Days Later and Juan Carlos Fresnadillo's 28 Weeks Later.
While plot details for the movie have been kept under wraps until now, we know that Boyle will return to direct this opening chapter before handing over the reins to Nia DaCosta (The Marvels) for the sequel. According to star Ralph Fiennes, that follow-up has already been shot!

More than 20 years after its initial release in 2002, we're finally getting a follow-up to the critically acclaimed post-apocalyptic horror film 28 Days Later from director Danny Boyle and writer Alex Garland. According to star Ralph Fiennes the first two films of the trilogy have already been shot, having filmed back-to-back.
Chatting with IndieWire, Fiennes provided us with some early plot details for the first movie, currently set to release in theaters in June 2025. The Tony Award-winning actor will play a "good" doctor tasked with assisting a young boy and his dying mother.

Here in the US, James Watkins’ directorial debut Eden Lake went straight to DVD and was distributed by Dimension Films. Of all the titles to fly under the Dimension Extreme banner though, this one was the most deserving. The movie turned out to be more of an endurance test than I could have ever anticipated. Eden Lake also manages to be both acclaimed and despised. Anyone who knows what became of Michael Fassbender and Kelly Reilly’s characters very well understands the mixed sentiments surrounding this movie.

The Trailer for Michael B. Jordan’s Vampire Film ‘Sinners’ Is Out Before ‘Blade’ Even Begins Filming
Michael B. Jordan is back in action with his “Black Panther” writer/director Ryan Coogler.
The trailer for “Sinners,” the highly-anticipated vampire movie from the MCU duo, is officially out years before the long-awaited “Blade” remake. “Sinners” has been positioned as the non-mcu-sanctioned take on the “Blade” comics. While Coogler has made two Marvel films (the “Black Panther” features), “Sinners” is entirely separate from the franchise — and probably for the best.
Marvel’s “Blade” starring Mahershala Ali was first announced in 2019. Since then, it’s had a rotating door of writers and directors.
Coogler and Jordan first collaborated on “Fruitvale Station,” and then moved on to “Creed.” Jordan later made his directorial debut with “Creed III.”
“Sinners,” again written and directed by Coogler, centers on twin brothers — both played by Jordan — who return to their New Orleans hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back.

Thirty-five years after Warner Bros. danced with the devil in the pale moonlight, the studio has added another satanic statement to its storied history courtesy of Ryan Coogler and Michael B. Jordan: “If you keep dancing with the devil, one day he’s going to follow you home.”
That’s the key theme espoused by the first trailer for “Sinners,” Coogler’s first film since “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” and his latest collaboration with Jordan following “Fruitvale Station,” “Creed,” and the “Black Panther” films.
Set in the 1930s Jim Crow South, “Sinners” is a supernatural horror thriller where a mysterious terror menaces a small town and its residents – particularly twin brothers (both played by Jordan). Here’s the official synopsis, provided by Warner Bros.:

“Dance with the devil… and he’ll follow you home.”
The first trailer for Black Panther director Ryan Coogler's latest collaboration with actor Michael B. Jordan has been released, and it's not quite what we were expecting!
In Sinners, Jordan plays twin brothers in the Jim Crow-era Deep South who decide to leave their troubled lives behind by returning to their hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back.
The trailer suggests that the brothers will come up against some kind of dark supernatural force, but there's no real indication that either of them - or the threat they face - are vampires, which was previously rumored.
It's entirely possible that Warner Bros. is attempting to keep this particular plot point under wraps, but there's also a chance these early reports were not accurate.

Warner Bros has released the first trailer for Ryan Coogler’s highly anticipated Sinners. Check it out below.
Just a day after we learned the official title and some plot details for Ryan Coogler’s next film, a trailer has appeared online. And it’s a good one too.
Check out the Sinners trailer below.
Delroy Lindo, Hailee Steinfeld, Wunmi Mosaku and Jack O’Connell join Jordan in the film’s cast and Coogler is bringing a lot of his Black Panther collaborators, such as composer Ludwig Göransson, and costume designer Ruth E Carter to help him realise his vision.
Granted, there’s no actual vampire action in the Sinners trailer. Warner Bros is likely saving that for later trailers or maybe even the big screen itself. If anything, the crowd approaching a bar, presumably where Jordan and the rest of the townsfolk are hiding, resemble the slow-walking zombies of George A Romero’s films.

Ryan Coogler is on quite the streak. The filmmaker went from Fruitvale Station, to Creed, to Black Panther and Wakanda Forever – and for his next move, he’s taking a break from franchise fare and using all that cache to craft a big, blockbuster genre film that’s all his own. For the first time, he’s heading overtly into horror territory with Sinners – re-teaming with his on-screen muse Michael B. Jordan for a tale of brotherhood and bad guys. The first trailer has arrived, teasing a tense and terrifying ride. Check it out here:
That’s a tantalising glimpse – one that barely gives anything away. But we know we’re heading back into the past, that evil is on the march, and that those dark forces are encroaching on a small town ready to fight back. Reports for this one have long had it down as a vampire movie...

In the mysterious preview, Jordan’s Smoke says via voiceover, “I’ve been all over this world. I’ve seen men die in ways, I ain’t even know was possible.”
He adds, over footage of people running from some unseen danger and someone showing up at church with their face scratched, “Of all the things that I’ve seen, I ain’t ever seen no demons, no ghosts, no magic — ’til now.”
The trailer ends with Jordan leading a group of people ready to fight as a preacher says, “You keep dancing with the devil, and one day he’s going to follow you home.”

“Sinners” is near.
The new Ryan Coogler film, which stars his longtime collaborator Michael B. Jordan, isn’t coming out until March 7, 2025 and has been shrouded in secrecy ever since cameras rolled. But a brand new teaser trailer, which you can watch below, is enough to give us a good idea of what to expect. And it is wild.
In “Sinners,” Jordan plays twin vampire brothers who return to their hometown in an attempt to start over. Once there, they discover something even more evil has taken root – the Ku Klux Klan (Jack O’Connell plays the evil racist baddie). The movie is set in 1930s Jim Crow South, with production taking place in New Orleans earlier this year — but this being a Coogler film, it’s filled with the kind of rich detail that brings history to life. And the concept both feels fun and cool while also rich enough...

Acclaimed actor Michael B. Jordan will reunite with director Ryan Coogler for their latest film “Sinners,” set for release next March. The supernatural horror movie takes place in the 1930s American South and blends historical elements with otherworldly forces. Jordan and Coogler have collaborated successfully on several previous projects together including “Fruitvale Station,” the “Creed” franchise, and Marvel’s “Black Panther” films.
Details about the plot remain vague, though trailers show Jordan portraying a bootlegger from the World War I era who encounters strange happenings he can’t explain. His character warns in a voiceover “I ain’t seen no demons, no ghosts, no magic – till now.” The community faces a sinister threat while the precise nature of the danger stays mysterious. Scenes depict terrified residents fleeing and a preacher cautioning that associating with evil will lead it to follow you home.

When Ryan Coogler and Michael B. Jordan join forces, magic happens. The duo's prior efforts are all certified bangers that helped skyrocket Jordan to superstardom and earned Coogler the distinction of being behind the highest-grossing film of all time by an African American director. While Marvel has been struggling to get their "Blade" movie off the ground, Coogler and Jordan swept in to make the new vampire flick "Sinners," which horror fans have been thirsting after for months. Warner Bros. has kept details about the film pretty close to the chest, but with a logline floating around online and some paparazzi photos snapped of Jordan in period-attire, "Sinners" is rapidly ascending its way to the top of my list of most anticipated releases of 2025. Here's the logline:

The highly-anticipated horror thriller is based on an original script by Coogler, with the project set in the 1930s Jim Crow era-South and filmed earlier this year in the New Orleans area. But beyond those basic details, everything about the project — from the title to its plot — had been kept under wraps. Then, on Monday, the supernatural thriller was announced to be titled “Sinners.” Later, Jordan shared the film’s poster on social media, with the caption, “Dance with the devil…and he’ll follow you home.”

We finally have some new details on Black Panther director Ryan Coogler's mysterious '30s-set vampire movie, which will star Michael B. Jordan in the lead role(s).
Shooting got underway on the project back in April, and some set photos aside, the studio has done a good job of keeping most details relating to the film under wraps... until now.
According to reliable scooper Daniel Richtman, the movie is titled Sinners. We also have a first logline, and it seems the rumor that star Jordan will play twin brothers was accurate.

Production wrapped earlier this summer on Danny Boyle’s 28 Years Later, the long-awaited sequel to 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later that intends to launch a brand new trilogy. Boyle and Alex Garland are reteaming for the planned 28 Years trilogy, with Garland writing the first movie and Boyle back in the director’s chair to bring the horror to the screen.

Outlier Society and Amazon MGM Studios want to turn up the heat with Michael B. Jordan for a new Thomas Crown Affair movie. As part of a landmark deal, Jordan will direct and star in the project, which will debut exclusively in theaters. Jordan also produces through his Outlier Society studio alongside Elizabeth Raposo.
Previously, Pierce Brosnan played the lead character in 1999’s The Thomas Crown Affair, directed by John McTiernan. In the film, Brosnan plays Crown, a playboy with a knack for stealing art for kicks. However, when he meets Catherine Banning, an insurance investigator who inspires Thomas’ heart to go pitter-pat, Crown’s wicked ways take an exciting turn. Before Bronsnan’s turn as the Lothario thief, Norman Jewison directed the original 1968 movie, starring Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway as the complicated couple.
Often compared to James Bond, Thomas Crown squares off against fewer villains than the British superspy.

Created by Taylor Sheridan, the neo-Western drama series revolves around the Dutton family who own the largest ranch in America. While there is a lot of infighting amongst the family they must all stand together to protect what’s there from several enemies. Yellowstone stars Kevin Costner, Kelly Reilly, Cole Hauser, Luke Grimes, Kelsey Asbille, Wes Bentley, Jefferson White, and Ian Bohen. With 28 Years Later having wrapped production, we look at what the sequel’s story might potentially look like.
Nb: The following contains spoilers for 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later, plus potential plot details for 28 Years Later.
Given just how influential and financially successful it was, it’s a little surprising that 2002’s 28 Days Later hasn’t spawned more sequels. Instead, the past 22 years have seen the release of just one follow-up: 2007’s 28 Weeks Later, a film even more dark and despairing than its predecessor.
Things are about to change, however, with the 2025 release of 28 Years Later. It’ll see director Danny Boyle and screenwriter Alex Garland reunite for a belated sequel, which as its title suggests will take place almost three decades after the outbreak of the Rage virus that swept across the UK in the original film.

Yann Mounir Demange quite literally blasted onto the scene back in 2014 with his feature debut about a stranded British soldier (Jack O’Connell) with nowhere to hide, but to move forward in a hostile Belfast circa 1971 (hence the provenance of the film’s title ’71). Born in Paris to a French mother and an Algerian father, the filmmaker would establish himself in the British film scene before Hollywood came knocking and yet we feel that it’s with his short, Dammi where we find the filmmaker at his most personal. Shooting continues on 28 Years Later, the first instalment of a planned trilogy picking up after the events of Danny Boyle's classic 28 Days Later and Juan Carlos Fresnadillo's slightly less well-received 28 Weeks Later.
Now, thanks to Mail Online (via FearHQ.com), we have a first look at Free Guy star Jodie Cormer being chased down by a group of blood-soaked, naked zombies. The undead look terrifying and perhaps a little more grounded than what we've seen in The Walking Dead and Army of the Dead, for example.
As for their lack of clothes, that does make sense when you stop and think about it.
While plot details for 28 Years Later are being kept under wraps, we know that Boyle will return to direct this opening chapter before handing over the reins to Nia DaCosta (Candyman) for a planned second instalment.
The impressive cast also includes Aaron Taylor-Johnson,...

It’s been a long time coming, but a reboot of the 1994 cult classic film The Crow (which was based on the comic book series created by James O’Barr) will finally be making its way out into the world on August 23rd, which is when Lionsgate will be giving the film a theatrical release. With that release date swiftly approaching, we figured we should gather together all the information we have on this movie… and here it is, Everything We Know About The Crow 2024:

THR reports that Universal Pictures has snagged the rights to A Vicious Circle, a graphic novel series published by Boom! Studios created by Mattson Tomlin and Lee Bermejo. Ryan Coogler is on board to produce A Vicious Circle via his Proximity Media banner, with Tomlin set to write the screenplay.
A Vicious Circle is a “two-hander action thriller about assassins from the future hunting each other through time” which is being described as John Wick meets Looper. Sounds like fun to me.
If you’d like more detail, the graphic novel synopsis has you covered: “Shawn Thacker is a trained assassin from the future who seeks revenge on the only other man with his affliction—each life they take forces them both to involuntarily travel between vastly different past and future eras. Spanning from 22nd century Tokyo to 1950s New Orleans to the Cretaceous Era and beyond, the two mortal...
