Denise Santos is best known for her roles on Long Slow Exhale (Spectrum), MacGyver (CBS), The Resident (Fox), and Family Blood (Netflix)
Actress Denise Santos is a Miami, Florida native with parents from Ecuador and Colombia. A fluent Spanish and English speaker, being bilingual created many opportunities for her to work on a variety of productions. After moving to Atlanta in 2009 and noticing the need for Latinx representation in the media, she started a Facebook group for other Latina creatives to meet. And in 2018, Denise co-founded Latinas in Media Atlanta. LIMA would then go on to showcase original one-act plays directed and performed by Georgia talent to the community and industry professionals.
Denise continues to advocate for inclusion and representation of Latinx talent in the media, she studies and trains with many esteemed acting coaches including Robert Mello and Michael Cole. Some stage performances include Carmen Rivera's La Gringa, The Vagina Monologues, and Alan Ball's Five Women Wearing the Same Dress, as well as over 100+ national and regional
