Back in September, readers were moved by the story of 16-year-old Kennedy Hubbard and the work she does to help other children with Lymphatic Malformation, a potentially fatal condition which features fluid-filled cysts that distend her face and have threatened her airway ever since she was born. But when hip-hop violinist Damien Escobar read Hubbard's story - how the high school junior mentors other children with Lm and raises money to help less fortunate sufferers afford treatment and for Lm research - the two-time Emmy winner did more than click "Like." He picked up the phone and asked, "How can I help?...

Last night's results show was one of the more entertaining we've seen from Dancing with the Stars, from the fake trailers previewing next week's movie soundtrack theme (my favorite was Glambo, starring Tony Dovolani as a well-oiled guy who runs around screaming) to the musical guests, Sade and Nuttin' But Stringz, who manged to make playing the violin seem badass.
It also helped that the professional dancers accompanying them were really, really good. And I liked the segment where they showed the pros when they were little child dancers. It seems that Derek Hough and Mark Ballas always thought they were much cooler than they really are, even when they were awkward teenagers. After finding out that these people basically gave up their childhoods to pursue their dancing careers (some of them forced into it by their parents), we then got to watch a new generation of teens continue that...

"Dancing With the Stars" will be a little less hunky, now that Aiden Turner, the British "All My Children" soap stud, was eliminated Tuesday night.
"Each week I came out here, I gave it my all and I got less nervous dancing in front of an audience, and last night I had the best time," Turner said after his elimination.
Joining him in the bottom three were comedienne Niecy Nash and reality-tv mom Kate Gosselin, the latter of whom managed to survive another week in spite of being Monday night's lowest scorer.
The first two safe couples of the night were Chad Ochocinco and partner Cheryl Burke, and "The Bachelor" star Jake Pavelka and partner Chelsie Hightower.
Before they knew if they were safe, Pamela Anderson and partner Damian Whitewood,...

Dubai's Sheikha Hessa reportedly upset Akon when she replaced him as the headline act at her recent birthday party.
The royal - full name Sheikha Hessa Bint Saad Al Abdullah Al Sabah - is said to have outraged the hip-hop star when she pulled him from the top bill at the extravagant bash in place of stars from U.S. TV show "America's Got Talent" Nuttin' But Stringz.
A source told the New York Times newspaper: "Akon was pouting the rest of the night and wouldn't talk to anyone."
But a spokesman for the star denied there were any bed feelings over the rescheduling, saying: "He performed for an hour and there was no pouting."...

For the right price, rapper Akon will fly anywhere to perform for your special occasion. He'll do it, but he doesn't have to like it. Princess Sheikha Hessa of Dubai flew him out to sing at her big birthday gala last week, but he wasn't alone. Among others, the princess also flew in former "America's Got Talent" stars Nuttin' But Stringz. When the birthday girl heard Nbs warming up, "she gave them Akon's place in the lineup, making them the lead act," said a source for Page Six. How did Akon react to the news...
