First off if, like me, you saw the title of this movie and was a little put off, rest assured that Fractured is much better than the generic title…
After looking up director Jamie Patterson it should have been no surprise that he has directed quite a few films (although not any I have actually seen), because Fractured looks very much like a movie made by an experienced filmmaker. It looks great and I loved some of the camera work. There’s some expert use of lighting and several really interesting and simply fantastic-looking shots. Things that might sound simple but on screen are so much more. Like an almost black and white shot of a house with one character in light (and therefore colour) seen through a window.

Louisa Lytton has revealed that she will be forever "grateful" for her time in EastEnders. The actress played Ruby Allen in the BBC1 soap from 2005-2006, and has since made a move to Los Angeles, playing a significant role in American Pie: The Book of Love in 2009. Speaking about her role as a British exchange student in the straight-to-dvd movie, she told Ok: "That experience was brilliant, as it does give you an insight into what you want to do in your career. "But there is so much I still want to do at home, like theatre, and build myself up, because I have missed out on things like drama schools. It's funny because when I was there they thought I was a huge star back in Britain! "For them, being a soap star is massive, yet in this country, if you do a soap, you're almost looked down on as an actress.

In this brand-new, two-part special for ITV1, six celebrities will put their bravery to the test and take on the challenge of enduring a multitude of tests, all delicately designed to instil in them a mix of emotions, from fear to total confusion, as they discover what lies behind The Door.
Actors Dean Gaffney, Louisa Lytton, Coronation Street’s Jennie McAlpine, Boyzone’s Keith Duffy join television presenter Michael Underwood and The Saturday’s singer Frankie Sandford as they compete against each other in the ultimate celebrity endeavour contest.
The anxious contestants will pass through a series of doors. Each will transport them to unexpected places where they will face challenges that will assault all their senses. They will battle claustrophobic spaces, suffer shocks, and, hopefully with a sense of adventure, cope with disorientating games as they battle it out to be the last star standing and claim a cash prize for their chosen charity.

Baked goods have a shelf life for good reason. I don't care how good the original pie was, after ten fucking years, it's going to be shitty and nauseating. Now on its Seventh incarnation, I'm praying to the god Flickus, god of direct-to-dvd, and Frattus, god of collegiate antics, that the lame American Pie series be taken out back and given the ol' double-barrel buh-bye. Bury the remains in hallowed earth, and then salt it so nothing may grow from it again. American Pie is now prepackaged like dollar store cake-mix boxes molded from a warehouse flood. The jokes stopped being funny four movies ago, they've run out of things to stick it in or have stuck in themselves, and they're recycling hit-on/burn lines that were old when the Pie was still fresh. The first film might have been my generation's Breakfast Club, igniting a few careers with a...

Believe it or not, it’s now been 10 years since the original American Pie movie. It was a huge success costing around $10m to make and creating around $235m at the box office. It spawned two further theatrical releases and American Pie Presents: The Book of Love is the 4th straight-to-dvd release in the franchise making it the 7th in the series. Yup, Universal is releasing yet another direct-to-dvd American Pie sequel/spin-off. And yes, the jokes have gotten progressively less funny. This time around, the story focuses on three friends at Great Falls High, who like the original group, are "determined to succeed in their mission of manhood and score with the ladies of their dreams." But before that can happen, they must reconstruct "the bible". After some uproarious attempts with less than successful results, they accidentally discover a legendary guide to seduction hidden in the school library. It turns out to be a rarely-seen, often-sought manual about the secrets to sexual success, penned by some of the school's previous generations. But a few missing pages leads to hilarious surprises for everyone... including the alumni. The film stars Eugene Levy, Rosanna Arquette, Bug Hall, Kevin M. Horton, Brandon Hardesty, Beth Behrs, Melanie Papalia, Jennifer Holland, John Patrick Jordan, Louisa Lytton, Sherman Hemsley,...
