- This Korean/Irish actor was born and raised in and around Detroit City. In his younger years he was constantly getting into fights until his parents enrolled him into a martial arts academy in hopes to curb his wild energy. Throughout his martial arts career he has competed and won numerous martial arts tournaments and would eventually fight in bare knuckle and in full contact matches in both the professional, and underground circuits. His love for the martial arts, fast muscle cars, and philosophy were in part inspired by Bruce Lee. The drive for acting took over after seeing "The Crow" Starring Brandon Lee, and would make him a stand out talent at his high school (Romeo High School). After moving to Los Angeles in 2001 Jin was working as much as he could. Unable to afford film school, he took a job at Warner Bros studios where he studied professionals working for years in numerous departments. Possessing a strong mix of quiet intensity and quick wit, his ability to read into the emotional human mechanism is rivaled only by his creativity. Years of studying martial philosophy and various martial arts styles has enabled him to bring that extra spark to his projects. A quick study under some notable writers, Jin began his writing career. Known for his unique writing style and basing scripts on dreams and nightmares, his experiences have provided raw material for numerous projects and visually arresting screenplays. His tireless efforts to educate himself in numerous areas of entertainment has made him a very valuable asset in acting, writing, directing, producing, casting, stunts, and fight choreography while forging a independent entertainment bridge between the United States and South Korea film markets. - Started studying martial arts since he was 4 years old. He has studied a total of 22 different forms of martial arts. He has also worked in a large number of night clubs/bars between Detroit and Los Angeles doing security and bodyguard work.
- Jin's hobbies include writing, martial arts, philosophy, and auto racing. He's also a fan of anything to do with ghosts and zombie films.
- Founded a company called "Guardians", alongside Martina Lotun (long time friend) which helps new talent in LA get established, find their way around, and most importantly not be taken advantage of.
- Fighting is easy, it's in our nature for survival. Two things complicate it, ego and emotion. You must be clear of both.
- I strongly believe that when you reach a certain level of success, you have a moral obligation to be a good person, to help others in need on some level. A large part of this includes not surrounding yourself with 'yes men'.
