Jenna Powell is a Bidding Producer at multi-award winning visual effects studio Framestore since 2021 having spent twelve years as a visual effects producer across multiple film and episodic productions.
Prior to her move to Framestore, she was a Senior VFX Producer at Milk Visual Effects from its launch in 2013. During her time at there, Jenna produced the BAFTA award-winning VFX for two episodes of Doctor Who: "Day of the Doctor", the 50th Anniversary Special (2014) and "Deep Breath" (2015) as well as the RTS nominated VFX for ITV drama 'Beowulf'.
Jenna worked across both TV and feature film projects, including The Last Letter from Your Lover (Blueprint Pictures); Rebecca (Working Title/Netflix); Brandon Cronenburg's Possessor (Rhombus Media); Summit Entertainment/Lionsgate's The Divergent Series: Insurgent and High-Rise from director Ben Wheatley (Recorded Picture Company) and independent feature An Evening With Beverly Luff Linn, which debuted at Sundance Film Festival.
Jenna episodic credits include TV series BAFTA nominated Cursed (Netflix); BAFTA nominated Season 1 Good Omens (Amazon Studios); The Alienist (TNT/Paramount); two episodes of Channel 4/Left Bank/Sony's sci-fi anthology Phillip K. Dick's Electric Dreams; the BBC's critically acclaimed, BAFTA-winning Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell; ITV drama Endeavour; BBC3 sci-fi series Class and Doctor Who Christmas Special 2016 (BBC).
Prior to the launch of Milk in 2013, Jenna was VFX Producer at The Mill TV & Film for three years having joined as VFX Coordinator five years previously. Whilst at The Mill Jenna produced a variety of TV projects including VES nominated Skellig, Alice, The Hollow Crown and three series of Doctor Who earning three BAFTA nominations and an RTS Award. As coordinator, she worked on VES Award winner Elizabeth I, Torchwood, BAFTA winner Doctor Who and The Sarah Jane Adventures as well as feature film 28 Weeks Later. Jenna began her career at the Indestructible Production Company as a runner, quickly progressing to VFX coordinator role on full CGI TV series Captain Scarlet.
