Joel Andrew Ross was born on March 25, 1983 in Vancouver Canada to Marg
and Wayne Ross. Raised on the Sunshine Coast, Joel grew up playing
hockey, as well as other sports. While attending high school at
Chatelech Seconday, he enrolled in the video production program which
started him on his way to acting.
He has an older sister and 2 older step brothers and is the only one in
the family that is in the entertainment industry.
Joel was 19 when he decided to pursue his dream of acting. It wasn't
until 20 that he got his first lead in an independent pilot. His first
true part came a year later when he appeared in the CBC show
Edgemont (2000).
Since then he has landed a Principal role in the feature film A Road To
Victory (2005) and a small actor role in
Two for the Money (2005).
