Jochen Stoeckle

Jochen Stoeckle grew up in the small town of Heidenheim in southern
Germany as the youngest of three brothers. After finishing school he
attended the University of Stuttgart, where he studied German and
English to become a teacher. But before even finishing his bachelors
degree, he started to work for a small local radio station as a
reporter and DJ. In 1998 he was discovered by the radio station SWR3
(broadcasting for all of Germany's southwest) and hosted the morning
show from 1998 to 2004 together with Michael Reufsteck. Jochen Stoeckle has made
his first efforts on stage in several school productions in German and
later with the University of Stuttgart Theatre Project in English
(Picasso in Steve Martin 's Picasso at the Lapin Agile, Father Dewis in
Sam Shepard 's Buried Child). He made his debut on television in the German
series _Tatort - Die Spieler (2005) (TV)_playing a reporter who attends the opening of an art
exhibition. Jochen is married and does not have any
children.
