Welcome to this week’s Monday Night Raw review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and this show sucked. Plug your nose, bite your lip and get ready to give this Hell, because it’s not gonna be pretty. Also…Wazaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaup!!!!!!!!!!!
Match #1: Kevin Owens def. Bobby Lashley (Disqualification) The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
It’s hard to know who got the worst of what began as a Kevin Owens vs. Bobby Lashley match but soon turned into a two-on-one beatdown and ended in a dual arrest. It’s fair to say that Owens was certainly worse off at the end of the bout, which saw Aop ambush him in the middle of the action. Owens won via disqualification, but Akam & Rezar concluded the beatdown by dragging him out of the arena.
My Opinion: 2.5 out of 5 – This match never had a chance to get going like it should.

A Hollywood screenwriter could hardly have scripted the story of Nascar drivers Michael Waltrip and Dale Earnhardt more dramatically, and for the most part, “Blink of an Eye” stirringly recounts their fateful tale, which peaked — in simultaneously euphoric and tragic fashion — at the 2001 Daytona 500. Save for a few instances of excessive syrupiness, , bolstered by Waltrip’s recollections and a host of candid interviews. Even moviegoers with no vested interest in motorsports are apt to be moved by this bittersweet Cinderella-ish saga. Partnering with Fathom Events to bring the film to Nascar fans, 1091 Media will release in New York and Los Angeles on Sept. 6, followed by a nationwide rollout the following Wednesday.
Born the youngest of five in Owensboro, Ky., Michael Waltrip aspired to be like his older brother Darrell, a rising star in the racecar field. With a persistence that matched his talent, and through an early partnership with Richard “The King” Petty,...

The summer of 2018 produced three documentaries that earned over $10 million at the domestic box office. While this summer didn’t get quite as close, this fall has documentary releases about rock stars, athletes and even one posthumous release from an auteur. New films by Bruce Springsteen, Agnès Varda and Asif Kapadia could help make for a busy season for non-fiction cinema, with many more potentially on the way from the fall festival circuit. Here are 10 with impending releases you need to check out.

"I drove like I've never driven before." 1091 Media has debuted an official trailer for a thrilling documentary titled Blink of An Eye, a shortened version of the title of the book this is based on about Nascar driver Michael Waltrip - "In the Blink of an Eye: Dale, Daytona, and the Day that Changed Everything". The story begins when Michael leaves his small Kentucky town to follow in the footsteps of his brother. He gets help from the legendary Richard Petty, but proceeds to race 462 times without a win. The longest losing streak in Nascar. Despite this, Earnhardt puts him in one of his cars in the 2001 Daytona 500. On the last lap, the running order is Michael in first, Earnhardt's son "Jr" in second, and Earnhardt himself in third. Earnhardt blocks the 40 cars, but is swept up in what looks to be a minor crash that ends up killing him.

It's time to switch things up on Dancing with the Stars.
The stars will be swapping pros on Monday's episode, which in the past has been among the most popular (and most controversial) weeks of competition. Some fans question whether it's fair to rip away contestants from their pros – particularly struggling stars who may finally be getting a groove going with a particular partner. (Check out the full rundown of who's partnered with whom here.)
Paula Deen has struggle to improve during the season, and her pro Louis Van Amstel is considered among the best when it comes to working with older contestants.

After another wild and wacky season of tangos and tears, salsas and cheers – not to mention one of the most closely contested finales in Dancing With the Stars history – Season 19’s momentous, Mirrorball-crowning moment of truth is upon us.
Would the ballroom’s most consistently excellent performer, Alfonso Ribeiro, maintain his form long enough to hold off two fiercely formidable female challengers — Sadie Robertson and Janel Parrish? Would it all come down to Tuesday’s last dance, the mega-challenging 24-hour Fusion Challenge? (Um, it might’ve… had all three routines not garnered 10s across the board from the judges!)

With the prospect of one last, all-but-certain elimination looming — after Michael Waltrip’s merciful exit last week, perpetually low-scoring charmer Tommy Chong was sure to be next, right? — Week 9 of Dancing With the Stars saw the final six couples performing both “America’s Choice” and trio dances. Meanwhile, visions of the Mirrorball Trophy — and more immediately, a spot in next week’s semifinals — danced in the remaining stars’ heads.
But while tonight’s live show tipped its hat to loyal DWTS fans (whose social-media votes throughout the past week dictated each celeb’s song, dance styles, wardrobe and hair), the...

Last week we bid adieu to Michael Waltrip, the race car driver who drove away with our hearts. His time had come, but he was still a charmer who has one of the most enviable heads of hair I’ve ever seen. Tonight, on Dtws, the six remaining couples will dance to a song and dance style voted on by viewers for America’s Choice night. For the first time ever, America had creative control of the couples’ first dance, and voted via Twitter, Facebook and Instagram with their input on wardrobe, set design and visual effects. Another week, another injury in the ballroom! Before Monday night's show, one of Dancing With the Stars fan favorites Tommy Chong was performing with a calf injury he sustained during rehearsals earlier that day. So what happened? "It was me. I was dumb," Tommy told E! News after the show. "I didn't drink enough water, so I got cramps." Fortunately, the 76-year-old was able to push through the pain for not one, but two dances, including an intense dance-off against Nascar's Michael Waltrip, who was then eliminated from the ABC reality hit. "I had to do it," Tommy said. "I'm a dancer and being around all the dancers, they've got more injuries than you can...

The trackside brawl between Jeff Gordon and Brad Keselowski was 100% Authentic ... and not a scripted stunt to get ratings ... so says fellow driver Michael Waltrip. Waltrip was at Lax on his way out of Hollywood after being eliminated from "Dancing with the Stars" -- when we asked about the bloody altercation at Texas Motor Speedway. Of course, there's talk Nascar put the drivers up to the fight to get a boost in ratings ... which are reportedly down 6% from last year.

It wasn't hard for our users to predict the bottom of the leaderboard this week on "Dancing With the Stars." Michael Waltrip spent so much time there it seemed almost like a foregone conclusion. Our users were also right in their consensus that Waltrip would finally be eliminated after weeks of struggling, but what about that perfect score for Janel Parrish and Val Chmerkovskiy's contemporary dance? It was the first time Parrish topped the leaderboard since week three, which was another perfect score for the "Pretty Little Liars" star. -Break- Our users expected Alfonso Ribeiro to be the judges' favorite performer of the night, which would have been the fourth time for the actor. But not alokin, who has continued to beat most Derbyites predicting "DWTS" so far this season. (See current rankings.) From a sexy Batman and Robin to a sexy Lucy and Ricky, here are the best, worst and weirdest moments from this week's 'DWTS.'
This week's Dancing With The Stars was all about dynamic duos! From Bonnie and Clyde to Batman and Robin, the stars and their pro partners brought famous couples to life through dance, and it was one of the most enjoyable shows of the season so far.
Not only were the couples dressed up as famous duos, but it was revealed that there would also be a head-to-head dance off, pairing each couple against another in a series of three impromptu performances that could earn them extra points. However, the highest-scoring couple of the night would be totally safe from elimination, and wouldn't have to compete in the dance-off. The excitement was brewing right off the bat.

Dancing with the Stars celebrated its Dynamic Duos night on Monday with the seven remaining couples fighting to move forward.
Dancing With The Stars Recap
Lea Thompson and Artem Chigvintsev took on the personas of Bonnie and Clyde in a jazz routine. Despite the promise of the concept and Lea’s dancing chops, the routine somehow fell flat. Len Goodman didn’t think Lea took enough risks on the dance floor, while Julianne Hough took issue with Chigvintsev’s “dated” choreography. Overall, it was a capable but disappointing performance. Scores: 8+8+8+8=32
Michael Waltrip, who has defied the odds by remaining on the show into week 8, danced a foxtrot with Emma Slater. As the Tarzan to Emma’s Jane, Michael once again struggled to hit all of the moves in the choreography. The judges attempted to go easy on the Nascar driver during their remarks, but their true feelings about the performance came out in their scores.

Tonight was a big night on Dancing With the Stars. Not only was it a super fun theme night, but the highest scoring couple automatically made it through to next week and did not have to participate in the dance-off at the end of the episode. That couple was Janel Parrish and Val Chmerkovskiy, who chose Romeo and Juliet as their dynamic duo and received a perfect score for their contemporary routine to "Everybody's Free." It was impossibly steamy, and did nothing to convince us that they're not completely and totally in love with each other. "I danced with one of the best in the world," Sabato Jr. said. "It's all about the fans and that's why I am here."

Tonight's elimination/performances show, kicked off with them revealing that it was a Halloween themed night, and that Judge, Len Goodman, finally returned. Len actually emerged from a coffin during a haunted house intro routine, and Erin Andrews returned for co-hosting duties. To kick off the performances, Tommy Chong & Peta Murgatroyd did the Quickstep for another mediocre 28 score out of 40 from the judges. Lea Thompson & Artem Chigvintsev rocked an Argentine Tango routine that landed them a pretty good 34 score. Bethany Mota and Derek Hough delivered an awesome, near perfect Paso Doble number that landed them a 39 out 40 score! Antonio Sabato, Jr. & Cheryl Burke danced a Viennese Waltz for a pretty below average 27 score. Michael Waltrip & Emma Slater served up a Jive routine that landed them the worst score of the night with a 20! Dancing with the Stars returned Monday night with the final nine couples dancing to songs sung by – and/or liked by – recording artist Pitbull. Also, filling in for Erin Andrews, who is working the World Series, was DWTS alum Leah Remini.
Dancing with the Stars Recap
Jonathan Bennett and Allison Holker were the first pair to hit the dance floor, taking on a jazz number. Allison choreographed a Men in Black-themed routine complete with some hip-hop moves that Jonathan picked up with ease. Overall, it was the best choreography from Holker and Jonathan’s best dancing. Scores: 8+8+8+8=32
The reunited Janel Parrish and Val Chmerkovskiy danced a traditional samba. The routine was both fun and passionate, with Val showing off his abs. Once again, Janel proved she’s a natural on the dance floor. Among the judges, it was Pitbull that was left the most disappointed, while Carrie Ann Inaba...

Alfonso Ribeiro and Witney Carson set the stage on fire with their hot moves.
In a night of top notch performances, with Jonathan Bennett and Michael Waltrip delivering their best dances yet, it was the always-entertaining Alfonso Ribeiro and Witney Carson who really won the evening.
While they might have had the dance to beat, it wasn't the highlight of the evening! Check out the best, worst and weirdest moments from this week's Dancing With The Stars.
The Best
Jonathan and Allison Holker's Men In Black Dance
Jonathan Bennett was told he was in jeopardy, and then immediately had to get up and dance to Pitbull's Men In Black 3 song "Back In Time." So, in the vein of Men in Black, they donned government issue suits and Jonathan delivered his best performance ever. Sure, the set designers might have confused Men In Black with The Matrix, but it was pretty spectacular.

But he looks so sexy with his hair pushed back! Tonight, Mean Girls fans everywhere probably let out a simultaneous "Noooo!" when Jonathan Bennett and Allison Holker were rudely eliminated from Dancing with the Stars. That's right, America: Aaron Samuels will not be walking away with the mirrorball trophy. And it's all your fault. Sure, Jonathan was not the best dancer the show has ever seen, but he was certainly better than a few other contestants who continue to receive rave reviews from the judges much to our complete bewilderment. If you had told us several weeks ago that Michael Waltrip and Tommy Chong would still be on the show, we would have made the exact same sort of pouty face we're...

It’s Week 6 of Dancing With the Stars, which historically means it’s high time for a shocking, teeth-gnashing, out-of-nowhere elimination. But with Mirrorball also-rans like Michael Waltrip, Tommy Chong and even Jonathan Bennett still kickin’ it on the ballroom floor, what’s a drama-hungry viewer to do?
How about giving venerable host Tom Bergeron a sassy, sexy — and potentially unstable – new sidekick? That’s right, Monday’s live show showcased another “switch up” of sorts – last week’s partner swapping debacle wasn’t enough? — as the ballroom welcomed a glittering new guest co-host, Leah Remini!

Tonight's elimination/performances show, kicked off by revealing that rap star, Pitbull, would be guest judging and the couples would perform to his songs. Also, former celeb contestant, Leah Remini, filled in as co-host while Erin Andrews was away covering the World Series. After the introductions, they got right down to business, revealing that Tommy & Peta were safe ,and Janel & Val and Jonathan & Allison landed in jeopardy. Next, Jonathan Bennett & Allison Holker danced a Jazz routine to get a decent score of 32 out of 40 from the judges. Janel Parrish & Val Chmerkovskiy delivered a Samba number that landed them a 33 score. Tommy Chong & Peta Murgatroyd performed a Foxtrot routine, and got a mediocre 28 score, but they keep hanging around for some reason. After a break, they revealed that Lea & Artem, Sadie & Mark and Antonio & Cheryl were all safe this week. From there, Antonio Sabato, Jr. and Cheryl Burke rocked a hot...

Pitbull was in the house to perform and guest judge on a night that Dancing with the Stars promised lots of "muy caliente" moments – that is, until the judges (and America) threw cold water on the latest ousted celebrity.
Though he earned an impressive 32 out of 40 for his jazz dance, Mean Girls star Jonathan Bennett was the newest star to leave the dance floor Monday.
"Here's the thing," explained Bennett. "I came here to do this show, to have fun, to have a really great experience and to bring life back into my life, and that's what I did. I...

Dancing With the Stars' Monday night “switch up” worked out well for for Duck Dynasty’s Sadie Robertson, but earned Nascar driver Michael Waltrip the lowest marks on the scoreboard. Wittingly dubbed “Derek Dynasty” for the past week by pro dancer Derek Hough, Robertson switched partners with fellow contestant Bethany Mota and learned her Charleston moves from Hough on the Louisiana family farm. Season partner Mark Ballas was elated to find out that Robertson was paired with Hough and told The Hollywood Reporter: “Derek is amazing. He’s like family to me, so to be honest with you, when I found out

Check out the best, worst and weirdest moments from this week's 'DWTS'.
It was Switch Up week on Dancing With The Stars, and the teams that had been getting to know each other over the last month were torn apart for the week, and everything was thrown up in the air.
Tensions ran high between the pros and the stars, each hoping their former partner did well, but not so well that it would throw their compatibility in to question. The entire episode was an examination of competitive psychology.
Video: Alfonso Ribeiro Addresses His 'DWTS' Edge
And, to shake things up even more, this was a no-elimination week, meaning this week's judge and audience scores would be combined with last week's, evening out the natural disadvantage of suddenly switching partners.
But the show was filled with some wonderful and wonderfully bizarre moments. Here are the best, the worst, and the weirdest parts of this week's Dancing With The Stars.

Dancing With the Stars returned Monday night with the highly anticipated and much dreaded Switch-Up week in which the celebrities had to dance with a new pro partner. Also throwing things off balance this week was the continued absence of Len Goodman, who was replaced at the judges’ table with British singer Jessie J.
Dancing With the Stars Recap
After Jessie J performed her hit “Bang Bang," Antonio Sabato Jr. danced a Bollywood routine with Allison Holker. The dance naturally had a lot of energy, and allowed Antonio to show the judges some personality. Unfortunately, despite the dance’s fun factor, Antonio and Allison didn’t have much chemistry together and were often not in sync throughout the routine. Score: 8+6+7+7=28.
Bethany Mota and Mark Ballas paired up this week to take on hip-hop. Mark tried to get Bethany, a YouTube celebrity, to bring the swag and attitude necessary for the dance style.

Week 5 of Dancing With the Stars heralded the return of the wonderful, dreadful and totally unnecessary “Switch Up.” In other words, we were treated to brand new celeb-pro pairings — all chosen (how else?) via your Twitter votes! — apparently intended to provide a much-needed jolt of energy and intrigue to ABC’s legendary ballroom.
Whether you view this “innovation” as a welcome breath of air freshener or an gag-inducing momentum-breaker, Monday’s live show also dazzled (Jessie J.’s super sexy show opener), dribbled (lots of ho-hum clip segments) and showcased yet another guest judge … none other than Jessie J., who...

No one got eliminated Monday on Dancing with the Stars but there were lots of new - and hazardous! - moves going on under the mirror ball. "Bang Bang" singer Jessie J had the unenviable task of guest judging on a night that involved switch ups among the duos - and not everybody got the partner they deserved. (Tough luck, Michael Waltrip!) Here's how everyone scored: Antonio Sabato Jr. and Allison Holker. It was hard for the soap star to keep up with the well-toned pro while doing Bollywood - but hanging above the floor via a cable was a big crowd pleaser!
