The Canadian Sports Concussion Project at Toronto's Krembil Neuroscience Center announced that an autopsy of Montador's brain revealed widespread deposits of an abnormal protein that is a marker for chronic traumatic encephalopathy, a progressive degenerative disease found in athletes with a history of repetitive concussions or blows to the head.
