Exclusive: Another pilot has vanished into the Bermuda Triangle after ABC has opted not to proceed with sci-fi drama Triangle, starring The Brave’s Mike Vogel.
The pass by the Disney-owned broadcaster comes eight months after Triangle was ordered to pilot in January. A late international shoot in New Zealand and extensive post-production delayed the pickup decision until after the May upfronts.
“I want to wait and make a final decision when the editing of the show is completed and it has all special effects,” ABC programming chief Karey Burke told Deadline at TCA last month.
Written and executive produced by Jon Harmon Feldman and Sonny Postiglione (Knightfall), the show, from ABC Studios and Feldman and Jennifer Gwartz’s’s Random Hill posited the question: What if the Bermuda Triangle was not a watery grave in the middle of the ocean but a land lost in time that has...

Under the Dome vet Mike Vogel is headed out to sea as the star of ABC’s Bermuda Triangle-themed drama pilot Triangle, TVLine has learned.
What if the Bermuda Triangle was not a watery grave in the middle of the ocean, but a land lost in time that has trapped travelers over the course of human history? That’s the provocative question at the center of Triangle, which centers on a family that is forced to band together with a group of like-minded inhabitants (from throughout history!) when they are shipwrecked in a strange land. Their Lost-esque goal? To find their way back home.

The Vampire Diaries Episode 512
“The Devil Inside”
Written By: Brett Matthews & Sonny Postiglione
Directed By: Kellie Cyrus
Original Airdate: 30 January 2014
In This Episode…
Life returns to “normal” in Mystic Falls, following Katherine’s death. Mia needs Katherine’s corpse so that she can do a spell and make Elena “gone forever,” giving Katherine complete control of the body. Damon has buried her body and won’t tell Stefan where. Tyler is crashing with Matt (or maybe he moved back in - the house may be in both names now) but either way he is a total drunk and determined to get Caroline back. Matt wants to throw him a welcome home party. Jeremy and Bonnie have gone to visit her mom. Caroline is back at school, stress cleaning the dorm when Aaron comes in with a message for Elena: he is in control of his trust, and has completely cut off the Augustines.

The Vampire Diaries, Season 5, Episode 12: “The Devil Inside”
Written by Brett Matthews and Sonny Postiglione
Directed by Kellie Cyrus
Airs Thursdays at 8pm (Et) on The CW
Despite Katherine seemingly at death’s door for most of last week’s episode, her last minute transition into Elena’s body proved that the doppelganger still had some tricks up her sleeve. With her daughter and the Travelers in on her plan, it was clear that Mystic Falls wasn’t going to be rid of their nemesis quite as soon as they thought. This week’s episode once again focuses on Katherine’s attempt at survival, in a compelling outing that re-introduces some absent characters.
Having Katherine permanently inhabit Elena’s body and take over her consciousness is an intriguing development. As she points out herself, this is the first time Katherine is completely free and clear,...

The Vampire Diaries, Season 5, Episode 5: “Monster’s Ball”
Written by Sonny Postiglione
Directed by Kellie Cyrus
Airs Thursdays at 8pm (Et) on The CW
Qetsiyah’s presence and subsequent spell two weeks ago altered the course of the show permanently, as not only did Stefan lose his memory and seemingly become a new person in the process, but Silas also lost his mind control capabilities, reducing his hold over people considerably. While last week’s episode explored the ramifications of the former, this week looks at the effect of the latter going forward, in a fascinating episode that, despite some issues, is the strongest one of the season.
The idea of introducing Nadia Petrova is an interesting one. While Katherine has been ruthless and manipulative through most of her time on The Vampire Diaries, the one time she did show genuine emotion and vulnerability was when she...

Written By: Sonny Postiglione
Directed By: Kellie Cyrus
Original Airdate: 31 October 2013

Hey guess what? We are no longer in high school... but we still have school dances. Great. This dance is a costume ball to celebrate some historical collection that the college got. All the usual suspects are there: Caroline and Tyler and Bonnie and Clyde; Elena and Damon are Anne Boleyn and Henry the 8th; Stefan is James Dean; and Tessa is Cleopatra.
Damon had devised a plan, fact checked with Bonnie via Jeremy, and agreed to by Silas: Damon wants to use Silas’s death as a way to bring back Bonnie. Bonnie is not okay with this because she fears the consequences, but they are going to forge ahead. Silas agrees when Damon comes to him with the proposal, but he needs something from Damon. Silas wants Damon to kill Stefan.

Happy Friday! Here’s a sneak peek at an upcoming romantic moment for ‘Delena’ on Halloween!
Last night’s episode of The Vampire Diaries may have included a few ominous moments about the future of Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Damon’s (Ian Somerhalder) relationship — you know, like when she went out of her way to promise that she’d still love him, even if they find Stefan (Paul Wesley) — but in this new picture from the show’s Oct. 31 episode, it looks like the couple is still going strong!
The episode, which airs on Halloween, finds the Mystic Falls gang attending a “costume party of the damned,” so you know Damon and Elena’s moment of happiness is only going to be a small part of a super-bananas hour.
Take Our Poll
Of course, Damon’s not the only man Elena dances with at the party. She also cuts a rug with Dr.

“A Crowd of Demons”
Written By: Sonny Postiglione
Directed By: Robbie Duncan McNeill
Original Airdate: 28 October 2012
In This Episode...
It’s Halloween at the Drake. Hooray! Gavin is getting threatening texts from an anonymous cell phone, and Olivia is nearly run over by a speeding SUV, but they still hold the annual Drake Halloween party. During the party, Olivia is gassed by a man wearing an antique gas mask, just to scare Olivia. He then steals an ornately carved wooden box from Gavin’s safe and leaves the gas mask in its place.
The man/smoke monster who was locked up in the suitcase was Peter Kramer. On Halloween night, 1929, he went home and butchered his wife with an axe in apartment 5F of the Drake. It is unclear if he killed himself or not. The little girl ghost that has been haunting Jane was Peter’s daughter.

Episode Title: "Victoria"
Written By: Kalinda Vazquez & Sonny Postiglione
Story: Christopher Chance (Mark Valley) is contacted by Gerard (Erick Avari), a bodyguard protecting Princess Victoria (Christina Cole) of the British royal family. Victoria's jealous husband has marked her for assassination following the revelation that she's fallen in love with Tony (Rey Valentin), a New York City ambulance driver.
Chance is forced on the run alongside Victoria and with the help of Winston (Chi McBride) and Guerrero (Jackie Earle Haley), he must thwart the secret service agents that have turned against the princess and bring her husband to justice.
Risk Assessment: "Victoria" is far from my favorite episode of "Human Target," for two reasons in particular. First, I'm barely willing to accept that one secret service agent could find it justifiable to assassinate his protectorate for the sake of preserving the greater royal name, let alone the vast majority of the secret service team.

Mark T-Man Teitelman has been hired to direct The Push, a romantic comedy for Gold Circle being produced by the company's Paul Brooks as well as Kiwi Smith and Seth Jaret.
Written by Sonny Postiglione, the romantic comedy follows a coterie of New York guys who engage in the art of "pushing," which occurs when an ordinary man invents a creative, elaborate, convincing persona in order to pick up gorgeous, ordinarily unattainable women. The story centers on a master of "the push" who meets his match when he falls for an unpushable strong-willed beauty.
Push was the first feature sale for Postiglione, a former assistant on ABC's NYPD Blue who is coming off a season as a writer on NBC's Law & Order.
Norm Waitt and Scott Niemeyer are executive producing the project, which is out to cast and eyeing a January start.
Gold Circle exec Brad Kessell brought the project in and is overseeing.
Smith is the co-writer of Legally Blonde and the untitled Anna Faris/Bunny project in production at Columbia with Happy Madison producing.
