My Score: 3 out of 5 Match #2: The New Day def. Imperium The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
After taking care of Ludwig Kaiser outside the ring, Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston used excellent tag team precision to pin Giovanni Vinci. Moments after Imperium’s loss to The New Day, Ludwig Kaiser turned on Giovanni Vinci with a brutal executed a surprise assault.

Logan Paul, the YouTube creator and digital influencer who’s built a career as a pro fighter, has signed a contract to be a WWE Superstar.
Now that Paul is officially under contract with WWE, sources familiar with the pact said, he will stay with the wrestling entertainment company for the near future and will perform across multiple events, which would take him through next year. He’s previously appeared on “WWE Smackdown” and “WrestleMania.”
WWE and Paul shared the news Thursday on social media and share photos of his visit to the company’s headquarters in Stamford, Conn. He’s pictured above with Triple-h and Stephanie McMahon — who assumed the role of interim CEO after her father, Vince McMahon, stepped aside amid a board investigation into misconduct allegations.

Former WWE superstar Ashley Massaro -- who later competed on 'Survivor' -- has died, TMZ Sports has learned. She was only 39. Officials tell us ... Massaro was transported from her home in Suffolk County, NY to a nearby hospital where she died early Thursday morning. Officials would not reveal the cause of death at this point, but we're told it's being classified as "non-criminal." Massaro famously won the WWE's "2005 Raw Diva Search" -- which included a $250,000 1-year contract.

Earlier today, the WWE Network sent a WrestleMania week email to subscribers advertising the streaming service’s full schedule and, in the process, confirmed this year’s entrant into the Hall of Fame’s celebrity wing – rapper/actor Snoop Dogg, who has been a longtime fan of the company and has been a part of WWE television broadcasts in the past.
Snoop made a memorable appearance at WrestleMania Xxiv, where he served as the Master of Ceremonies for the evening’s Playboy Bunnymania Lumberjack match between the teams of Maria and Ashley Massaro and Beth Phoenix and Melina. After the match, Snoop clotheslined Maria’s jealous ex-boyfriend, Santino Marella, and kissed the Playboy covergirl. He returned to WWE as Raw guest host on October 19, 2009, where a scuffle with Chavo Guerrero saw Snoop take the former Cruiserweight Champion down with a clothesline and a tackle.

Former WWE diva Melina was said to be so “extremely difficult to deal with” in Lucha Underground that the company replaced her with Taya Valkyrie, according to a report in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Responding to the allegations made against her, Melina took to Twitter to defend herself;
“I love wrestling, but I never thought I’d see this much crazy from people where they’d start rumors & such, long after I’ve stopped wrestling. During my career, All I wanted was to be around people that loved what I loved and make magic with them. I’m not even in wrestling anymore and people still keep fabricating stories of this evil, villain of a woman. It’s awesome to think my onscreen character was that convincing, but in actuality… That’s just crazy!”

World Wrestling Entertainment officials are currently looking for a new Latin female star to be a face of the company, reports the Wrestling Observer. They are looking for somebody with sex appeal and Spanish speaking skills, and for someone who can be front and centre in helping to expand WWE’s Latin audience.
It’s a no brainer for WWE to want to get a Latin star since that’s a big percentage of the fanbase, especially in the Us. They had a popular Latin diva in Melina Perez in the mid to late 2000s, but she’s been out of the company for about five years and they need a new star. Lucha Underground
What’s interesting about this is that Lucha Underground has two Latin female stars in Catrina (Karlee Perez) and Ivelisse, both of whom worked for WWE. When Catrina was in WWE she was...

Okay, so it’s time for one of those B-shows of the annual WWE calendar, Payback, a show that, on-paper, sounds okay, but isn’t offering too much in terms of fresh or exciting new feuds in my view. We’ll see how the matches go, shall we?
The opening match of Payback sees Sheamus taking on Dolph Ziggler. These two top-class workers wrestled at the Extreme Rules pay per view too, and I’ve seen them wrestle so many times over the years, yet I was happy to see it again here at Payback. The two of them have chemistry that is undeniable, and in my view, this match, along with the tag team title match that I’ll talk about shortly, stole the show. Just a great back and forth contest that saw the heel Sheamus defeat a bloody Ziggler with his brogue kick. Excellent match.

Hulk Hogan’s son, 24 year old Nick Hogan, has become the first male victim of the fappening.
The son of the WWE legend isn’t a major celebrity, but he does have some notoriety after appearing on the ‘Hogan Knows Best’ reality show in the mid 2000’s. He has even greater infamy after drink driving and drag racing in a 2007 incident that left friend John Graziano needing 24 hour care for the rest of his life. Nick ended up serving five months in jail for his criminal recklessness.
Now he has the infamy of having his nude photos hacked. The fappening tended to be the release of intimate photos of female celebrities, with the hacker using iCloud weaknesses to get the images. Now Nick’s entire photo library has been hacked and leaked. Photos include naked women, male genitalia (presumably his own) and most bizarrely pictures of his mother bent over in a thong.

The Undertaker’s 21-0 Wrestlemania undefeated streak is the last great record in professional wrestling. No male superstar will ever again match Bruno Sammartino’s combined 4,040 days as Wwwf champion. No wrestler regardless of gender will ever touch the Fabulous Moolah’s legendary 27-year reign as Women’s Champion. It’s unlikely that we’ll ever see the “Honky-Meter” again during an Intercontinental Championship reign. And no other wrestler it seems will be able to come close to the Phenom’s streak of wins at the “grandest stage of all.”
But he isn’t the only undefeated superstar at Wrestlemania. Sure, he’s undefeated with the most matches, but 16 other superstars have at least a 2-0 record (one victory does not a streak make) or better (not counting pre-show losses or Battle Royal eliminations.) Who are the others who can claim to...

It’s not enough burying John Morrison on television every week with defeat after defeat that has now completely made his wrestling persona redundant, but WWE now want to devalue their once promising star as much as they can on their website too.
In a WWE.com article titled “Has JoMo lost his mojo?” that serves absolutely no positive purpose for Morrison or the company that was published yesterday, author Ryan Murphy states
“John Morrison hasn’t won a match since August.
In that time, the high-flyer from California has been smashed by Cody Rhodes, squashed by Mark Henry and creamed by Wade Barrett. Tough competition, sure, but six months ago this man was the No. 1 contender to the WWE Championship. Now, he’s tasting the bottom of Drew McIntyre’s boot on “WWE Superstars.”
