Chris Hemsworth is godly, and his good looks have rendered many weak in their knees. From Elizabeth Olsen to Chris Evans, they have all praised the Australian actor for his charm and lovable nature. But it was his other Avengers co-star, Scarlett Johansson, who could not stop herself from gushing over Hemsworth along with Mark Ruffalo and the other Chris, aka Captain America.
Hemsworth is famous for his role as Thor, aka the God of Thunder, in the MCU, and he has been playing the part since 2011. Hemsworth’s character is one of the Og Avengers and has lost almost everyone dear to him – from his parents to brother Loki and lover Jane Foster. Will Samwell Reunite With Jon Snow? (Photo Credit – Instagram)
John Bradley, known for portraying Samwell Tarly in Game of Thrones, suggests the potential for reuniting with Kit Harington in the speculated Jon Snow spinoff series. Despite the widespread acclaim garnered by the HBO fantasy series, which aired from 2011 to 2019, and the success of its prequel House of the Dragon, concrete developments regarding the Jon Snow spinoff have yet to materialize since rumors emerged in 2021.
During an interview with ComicBook.com, Bradley discussed his upcoming Netflix series “3 Body Problem” and, when questioned about the possibility of definitive proof of alien life versus a reunion between Sam and Jon, opted not to commit to either scenario. Nonetheless, he did not dismiss the possibility of appearing in the spinoff, leaving fans with an open-ended opportunity.

“Game of Thrones” creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss warned Sunday night that fans shouldn’t expect the John Bradley we know and love as Samwell Tarly in their new Netflix series “3 Body Problem” — and that was their goal all along.
Recounting a night out in a Belfast pub while filming “Game of Thrones” some years ago, Benioff told the sold-out crowd at the Los Angeles debut of “3 Body Problem” that they got the idea to cast Bradley as a snarkier, harsher role after seeing him flirt with a tourist.
Benioff said Bradley was “incredibly sarcastic” and dry in his banter, and he and Weiss were inspired.
“He’s nothing like the Samwell that people know from ‘Game of Thrones,’ and we thought, ‘Wouldn’t it be fun someday to work with John and see him play a character kind of closer to the actual John?'”

This article contains spoilers for both The Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones.
It is pretty well known among fans that George R. R. Martin, the author of A Song of Ice and Fire books upon which Game of Thrones is based, has a double-edged relationship with J.R.R. Tolkien and The Lord of the Rings. On the one hand, like every other fantasy author of the 20th and 21st centuries, Martin has been heavily influenced by Tolkien and is more than happy to say so. He has spoken many times about his love of The Lord of the Rings and how he thinks Tolkien did what he wanted to do brilliantly, and the debt he and other fantasy authors owe Tolkien.
On the other hand, Martin has also talked about the ways he writes differently from Tolkien, and the questions he likes to ask about the story presented...

Nearly a decade ago, Lucy surpassed expectations to become a massive box-office success, grossing over 463 million worldwide on a budget of just 39 million. With that sort of money on the table, it’s surprising that a sequel didn’t immediately pop up. Well, the time has finally come for the next stage of Lucy’s story. Variety has reported that EuropaCorp and Village Roadshow are now working to develop a Lucy TV series based on the Luc Besson film.
Not only that, but Morgan Freeman is in advanced negotiations to star in the Lucy TV series, reprising his role of Professor Samuel Norman. Plot details about the series are being kept under wraps at this point, but the original movie starred Scarlett Johansson as a woman who gained psychokinetic abilities after absorbing massive amounts of an experimental drug into her system. There's too much TV to choose from these days, but when it comes to deciding what to watch, some unspoken rules of TV are just plain obvious. For example: If there's a show with Morgan Freeman in it, you watch the show with Morgan Freeman in it. According to Variety, it might be time to employ that no-brainer rule, as Freeman is apparently finalizing negotiations to star in a TV spin-off of the 2014 film "Lucy."
You may remember "Lucy" as the movie in which Scarlett Johansson plays a woman who unlocks her full brain's potential after accidentally absorbing a powerful drug. This turns her into a super smart, psychokinetic superhero-type who is also prone to almost disintegrating every now and again. The high-concept film came courtesy of "Léon: The Professional" and "The Fifth Element" filmmaker Luc Besson, and earned an impressive 463 million at the worldwide box office against a reported 40 million budget.

This post contains spoilers for the latest episode of "House of the Dragon."
It's easy to forget that "Game of Thrones" once had a main protagonist, since his head got lopped off before the end of the show's first season. But Ned Stark (Sean Bean) was there alright, grounding the series from the start and guiding viewers through the complex political landscape of Westeros with a dogged determination to do what's right, even at great personal cost. He wasn't the best player in the game of thrones, and his commitment to integrity ultimately cost him his life. With it went viewers' sense of stability, as the show proved itself willing to derail hero narratives in a heartbeat for the sake of a good shock. Still, even with Ned gone, "Game of Thrones" still had people worth rooting for.
No one in "House of the Dragon" reminds me of Ned Stark.

Finding the right balance between politics and action is proving to be a tricky endeavor for House of the Dragon.
House of the Dragon Season 1 Episode 3 featured a time jump, a wealth of new locations, and more ever-changing character dynamics.
It's hard to believe then that this was the slowest episode yet, but it played out more like something you'd get much further into the run of a series.
That's not to say it was terrible, but after the strength of the first two episodes, "Second of His Name" paled in comparison.
The politics continue to excite us because we're beginning to see where all these characters genuinely stand.
Alicent has been the hardest to read because her father has been working overtime to secure the future of the Hightowers.
There has been plenty of discourse about whether she's playing along or if she genuinely has a connection with Viserys.

HBO’s House of the Dragon season one episode three, “Second of His Name,” finds King Viserys in a miserable mood, his daughter still at odds with her stepmother and former best friend, and the battle in the Stepstones coming to an end after three brutal years. The Hand continues to attempt to manipulate his daughter into choosing her family over Rhaenyra in the line of succession, while King Viserys shows compassion toward Rhaenyra over the issue of marriage.
And now on to the detailed House of the Dragon episode three recap:
Prince Daemon (Matt Smith) has sided with Lord Corlys Velaryon (Steve Toussaint) and agreed to join his war against the Triarchy, led by Prince Craghas Drahar. The episode begins with Prince Daemon riding Caraxes over a burning ship owned by House Velaryon.

With the Battle of Winterfell finally over, it's time for the last handful of episodes of Game of Thrones to fix their attention on the other major issue at hand: the battle for the Iron Throne. It appears that next week's episode will see Daenerys and the Northern army - or at least what's left of it - heading to King's Landing to deal with Cersei, who now has the advantage of a larger army thanks to her decision to not follow through on her promise to fight alongside the North in Winterfell. As we run the numbers and continue questioning if Daenerys has what it takes to beat Cersei, let's take a second to recap which houses are on which side in the pursuit of the throne.

Warning: Major spoilers for Game of Thrones follow.
Going into the Battle of Winterfell, we all knew that there would probably be heavy losses; this is Game of Thrones, after all. The characters themselves seemed to expect it, too, readying themselves in case they died in the fight against the Night King and his army. And the epic battle definitely delivers, as one of the most expensive and complex scenes ever committed to film unfolds with a huge portion of the cast fighting to take down the Army of the Dead once and for all. In case anyone has forgotten, the honor of being the first to kill a White Walker went to Samwell Tarly some time ago, but in the battle this time, he's out of his depth.
That part isn't too surprising, considering that even the most experienced and tough heroes are nearly overwhelmed by the sheer onslaught of wights.

Spoiler Alert: This article contains details of tonight’s third episode of Game of Thrones’ Season 8.
The moment is here. In what can be considered the television event of 2019, HBO on Sunday aired the Battle of Winterfell episode of Game of Thrones titled “The Long Night,” which finds all of our beloved Westeros characters going to war with the Night King’s band of icy undead army of soldiers who are in desperate need of moisturizer and a hot oil treatment. Episode 2 of the eighth and final season was essentially a setup for tonight’s battle — and our patience was rewarded with an all-out brawl with some twists, turns and unfortunate casualties that have left our jaws on the floor. This only makes us crave more as only three episodes remain after tonight.

“Game of Thrones” felt a little too happy last week, didn’t it?
The Night King and his army spoiled our heroes’ quiet night of swapping stories and catching up with each other as the battle of Winterfell is finally here. Get your tissues ready as several fan favorites will surely be taken off the playing field this Sunday. HBO’s fantasy masterpiece hasn’t pulled any punches when killing off beloved characters in the past, so who should we brace ourselves to say goodbye to this episode?
Safe Bets to Survive
Jon Snow: Aegon Targaryen, the prince formerly known as Jon, has survived nearly every major battle in the series, and this one won’t get the better of him.
Daenerys Targaryen: Same as Jon, Daenerys will make it to the end, and possibly fight her nephew/lover for the Iron Throne.
Sansa Stark: Someone’s got to...

Politics hits a new low as Veep hits a new high as Selina Meyer gets ready for Super Tuesday.
This Veep review contains spoilers.
Veep Season 7 Episode 5
On last week's Veep, Selina Meyer began what looked like the start of a trip down a slippery slope of ethical malfeasance. In episode 5, she jumps on a greased fireman's pole, and not in a good, erotic way. "Super Tuesday" is political satire at its best and most savage. Seinfeld, the series which Julia Louis-Dreyfus helped Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David transform TV comedy in, ended with the main characters imprisoned for criminal disregard. I wonder if Selina will end this series campaigning in an orange jumpsuit for chief of C-Block. I can only hope Jerry himself is appointed special council.
The political system is designed to favor wealthy and well-connected candidates, and corruption is the best way to buy goodwill, from both donors and voters.

On the latest episode of “SNL,” host Kit Harington said he was glad that the final season of “Game of Thrones” means he can move on to other roles after 10 years playing Jon Snow. But that didn’t stop a bunch of people from interrupting his opening monologue to pester him for spoilers — including several of his co-stars.
Early on, Harington did the frequent “SNL” gag of taking questions from “audience” members, which backfired when the first person he spoke to got salty because Harington wouldn’t tell him who “wins ‘Game of Thrones.'” After having that person forcibly ejected from the room, Harington took another question from someone who turned out to be Emlia Clarke (Aka Daenerys Targaryen).
Harington was confused when Clarke asked if he could tell her how the show ends, since she plays the show’s other main character. “It’s been so damn long since the last season,...
