Since 2021, Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock and Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin of Crime have shown up in various MCU TV shows.
We've seen the Man Without Fear in Spider-Man: No Way Home, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, and Echo, with Wilson Fisk appearing in the latter and Hawkeye. However, these two haven't shared the screen since Daredevil wrapped up on Netflix six years ago.
That's set to change in Disney+'s Daredevil: Born Again and, in an interview with TV Insider, D'Onofrio revealed that the revival originally featured no significant links to Daredevil.
"It originally wasn’t going to be at all, but now it’s a lot," the actor said of crossovers between the two. Cox chimed in to say there's now "a lot" of them, presumably meaning Foggy Nelson, Karen Page, Bullseye, and The Punisher were M.I.A. in the previous iteration of Born Again.

Last year, a creative overhaul saw The Punisher's Dario Scardapane replace Matt Corman and Chris Ord as Daredevil: Born Again's showrunner. Now, all signs point to the Marvel Studios series delivering the take on the Man Without Fear we've been waiting to see in the MCU.
TV Line caught up with Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio at the Upfronts in New York yesterday and asked the former whether the retooling has brought Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk more in line with Netflix's Daredevil.
"Not exactly the same, but much closer," Cox teased. "And potentially much improved."
D'Onofrio added, "It’s hard to comment because I want to say so much about both the [Netflix] show and this show, and the change that happened, but in the end, the last few months of work we did was written beautifully and directed beautifully. Personally, I think it’s as intense as we’ve ever been.

New logos for the shows were also unveiled, and while teaser trailers were screened for those in attendance, they have not (and likely won't be) released online.
Different versions of the teasers are sure to be officially released before too long, but for now, we have a breakdown of the footage (via IGN).
The Born Again promo sees Matt Murdock don his familiar red costume, as his voiceover warns someone that the "entire system is against you... it's often David vs. Goliath." We then catch glimpses of Kingpin, Foggy Nelson, and Karen Page, and shots from a brief action sequence.
Right at the end, Murdock is asked, "what kind of a lawyer are you." He responds with, "a really good one,...

‘Star Wars: The Acolyte’ is the next most anticipated thing in the Star Wars universe. This is the first live-action show set in the High Republic era, and it’s groundbreaking because it will “sort of” portray the Jedi as the bad guys, due to them being an overwhelming systemic force in that specific time period.
The show was pitched as “Frozen meets Kill Bill” and it has a lot of influences from Samurai and Wuxia films, which will lead to some very promising action scenes.
A new trailer for the show recently dropped, and we can see that everything starts with the fact that Jedi are getting hunted and murdered across the Galaxy. There are insinuations that the Jedi order is not all pleasant as it would be supposed to be and their dominance is rotten to the core, something we’ve learned during the original trilogy as well.

A few weeks back, they released the trailer for the highly awaited ‘Star Wars: The Acolyte’, giving us a glimpse of the setting and characters. Though the plot remains largely unknown, fans are thrilled that it’s set in the High Republic Era, a first for live-action.
Despite this unique backdrop, ‘The Acolyte’ is the second show to explore this era, following ‘Young Jedi Adventures’, which recently concluded. Judging from Headland’s comments, ‘Acolyte’ promises to be different from what we anticipate. She described it as a mix of ‘Frozen’ and ‘Kill Bill’, drawing inspiration from samurai and Wuxia films.
Besides the setting, what really catches attention in the show are its characters. Headland admitted that some characters are original while others, like Vernerstra Rwoh, were lifted straight from the books.
The cast for the upcoming project includes Amandla Stenberg playing Mae, a former padawan turned warrior; Lee Jung-Jae as Sol,...

Did anybody call for a lawyer?
We can barely contain our excitement about the news that Disney+ is bringing back Daredevil in a bid to reignite the character for Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The glimpses of Matt Murdock that we got on Echo and Spiderman: No Way Home were great, but we have missed this tortured, hopeless do-gooder and his heart of gold.
At the risk of sounding like a superfan (guilty), this Marvel nerd has faithfully watched everything that has led up to this moment, hoping for an eventual Daredevil return.
Now that it's actually happening, there's a lot to cover -- let's dive in.
Where Will Daredevil: Born Again Pick Up?
It's been nearly six years since Daredevil Season 3 was released, and it feels like yesterday.

The Marvel / Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again went into production last year – then when the strikes hit, it underwent a creative overhaul that, according to Vincent D’Onofrio (who plays the villainous Kingpin / Wilson Fisk on the show), has ensured that this new series is now directly connected to the Daredevil series that ran for three seasons on the Netflix streaming service. So not only are D’Onofrio and Charlie Cox (who plays Daredevil / Matt Murdock) back in their roles, but so are Elden Henson and Deborah Ann Woll as Murdock’s associates Foggy Nelson and Karen Page. Daredevil: Born Again is now back in production, and behind-the-scenes images posted on social media have shown Cox, D’Onofrio, Henson, and Woll on set, along with new cast addition Margarita Levieva as Murdock’s latest love interest, Heather Glenn. These images can be seen at the bottom of this article.

Daredevil: Born Again is back in action in New York City, and fans are buzzing with the latest updates. The show had a bit of a shakeup with Dario Scardapane stepping in as the new showrunner, sparking lots of talks about what’s changing and what’s staying. But from what we’ve seen, things are looking good, and the core of the show seems intact.
Charlie Cox is back as Matt Murdock, and recent set photos have thrown a new twist into the mix. He was spotted in a cozy scene with Margarita Levieva, who’s playing Heather Glenn. For those in the loop, Heather’s one of Matt’s old flames from the comic books. This has got everyone talking because Deborah Ann Woll, who plays Karen Page, is also back. Fans are wondering, will Matt and Karen’s spark reignite, or is Heather the new main squeeze?...

Wilson Bethel, who played Benjamin Poindexter/Bullseye on Netflix’s Daredevil, is reprising his role on Disney+’s upcoming Daredevil: Born Again, sources confirm to Deadline. I hear he is set to appear in three episodes of the series, which is now filming. A rep for Marvel declined comment.
Following a production pause in mid-June due to the writers strike, Marvel Studios implemented a creative overhaul of Daredevil: Born Again, which follows original star Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, a blind attorney-turned-crimefighting superhero, and also features Vincent D’Onofrio reprising his role as mob boss Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin and Jon Bernthal returning as Punisher.
As part of the changes, Dario Scardapane (The Punisher) replaced Matt Corman and Chris Ord as showrunner.
The new creative direction appears also to involve bringing back more familiar faces. Word of Bethel’s casting, first reported by ComicBook.com, follows a recent InSneider report of the...

In case it wasn't already clear by now, Marvel Studios is doubling down on its connections to the Marvel Netflix universe of streaming shows. Next up on the reunion tour for "Daredevil: Born Again"? The Devil of Hell's Kitchen imposter known as Bullseye, portrayed by Wilson Bethel in season 3 of "Daredevil." The news comes from ComicBook.com, which reports only that he'll make some sort of appearance in the retooled series -- but "it's unclear how extensive his role will be."
Fans will remember that the rather tortured character of Benjamin Poindexter played an integral role in the war against Matt Murdock and Wilson "Kingpin" Fisk in the Netflix series. Season 3 ultimately ended with Bullseye on the wrong end of a fight between the two foes, shattering his spine and left paralyzed. It's unclear exactly how or even if Marvel will incorporate all these prior events into their new series, but...
