From the blue carpet to the amazing after party, these gals spent the night in style! Which looks did you like best?
While Sarah Jessica Parker and Kristin Davis looked totally gorgeous in their gowns at the NYC premiere for Sex & the City 2, their after party frocks were just as fun! Sjp swapped her couture Valentino for a racy, lacy Elie Saab and her colorful fall 2010 Nicholas Kirkwood heels, while Kristin opted for a vintage sequin Balmain and Rene Caovilla sandals, rather than the vibrant Jean Desses vintage gown she wore down the carpet.
While both get-ups were definitely more suited for a party, I prefer Sjp in her gown. As for Kristin, I was in love with her premiere dress but it was so nice to see her break out a different silhouette — the sequin number was both sexy and chic on the star! Kristin definitely wins for consistency,...

I was lucky enough to attend the world premiere for Sex and the City 2 in New York last night, and while the fashion in the actual film was kind of a letdown (there, I said it), the girls turned it out on the red carpet in fun and appropriately sexy outfits.
Leading lady Sarah Jessica Parker wore an electrifying neon Valentino gown that was as light and breezy as it was daring. In two words: I want! It had an interesting tail that whipped around her the entire night, which made for quite the red carpet strut. Her hair...

The Sex and the City 2 cast wrapped up the good times at their big NYC premiere last night and headed to Lincoln Center for the afterparty. The fabulous fashions continued as Sarah Jessica Parker traded her neon yellow Valentino Couture gown for a black Elie Saab number, and Kristin Davis changed out of her hot pink Jean Desses into something more sparkly. Sarah Jessica was also rocking blonder hair - get the inside scoop on her locks from her hairstylist Mandy Lyons. Kim Cattrall and Cynthia Nixon, meanwhile, didn't bother with a wardrobe transition as they celebrated into the late hours with Sjp's man, Matthew Broderick. Cynthia brought along her own long-term love, Christine Marinoni, and Chris Noth stayed close with his fiancee, Tara Wilson. John Corbett flashed a smile on his way inside, while Kristin posed for photos with her many hot male costars. The movie's writer, producer,...

Which leading lady looked best at the NYC premiere?
Yesterday at the HollywoodLife offices, we tried to guess what fabulous frocks the Sex and the City 2 ladies would choose for the red carpet — and honestly, after the premiere of the first flick, I didn’t know what to expect. Luckily, the gals were looking as glam as ever last night, totally channeling their bombshell characters in their gorgeous get-ups!
Just like her unpredictable and super stylish character Carrie Bradshaw, Sarah Jessica Parker totally surprised me in her yellow fluorescent asymmetrical Valentino spring 2010 chiffon gown and Ferragamo heels. Kristin Davis looked pretty in pink in her Jean Desses vintage gown from Decades Inc, from the 50s. She paired her ruched frock with Fred Leighton jewels, a Judith Leiber clutch, and Christian Louboutin heels. Cynthia Nixon looked both elegant and chic in her body hugging black, strapless Carolina Herrera, while Kim Cattrall...

Wearing a bright yellow Valentino gown that alter-ego Carrie Bradshaw would certainly approve, Sarah Jessica Parker was "excited and nervous" at the chandelier-lined blue carpet for the premiere of Sex and the City 2 Monday night. It's a "once in a lifetime experience," Parker said as she met throngs of fans lining the street outside New York's Radio City Music Hall. Even with the rest of the leading ladies, Kristin Davis (in Jean Desses for Decades), Kim Cattrall (in Naeem Khan), and Cynthia Nixon (in Carolina Herrera) rocking glamorous gowns as well, Parker, insists that the success of Satc isn't just about the clothes.

The Sex and the City 2 gang was out in full force last night in NYC for the first premiere of their film before Thursday's London event. The evening was all about the Big Apple and, of course, the four main ladies and their amazing fashion - Sarah Jessica Parker was in a bright yellow Valentino couture gown with her husband Matthew Broderick by her side, while a similarly neon-wearing Kristin Davis picked a Jean Desses number. Cynthia Nixon opted for black strapless Carolina Herrera, and Kim Cattrall was in a sparkly Naeem Khan. Sjp spent a long time signing autographs for the impressive amount of fans gathered at Radio City Music Hall before heading to the blue carpet. Kristin, meanwhile, opened up about reuniting with her costars in the film, saying it was great fun and that she and Sjp actually talk all the time! Willie Garson, aka Stanford Blatch,...
