- Graham David Spence was born on the 25 February 1976 in Berwick Upon Tweed, the only son of Wendy Spence (aka Wendy B Scott) and David Spence. He developed an interest in films from a very young age, and at the age of 7 he also began music lessons in classical piano, which led to him teaching himself guitar from the age of 12, and later vocals.
Having a solid background in the creative mediums, he later trained as an Electrical/Electronic Engineer gaining a degree in this area which gave him the technical expertise alongside the creative. Having also dabbled in acting, he later went to film school and gained his Masters degree in Film and Moving Image Production.
His first job in the industry was as a Production Runner on two Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden) pop promos shot back to back in 1998 for the tracks 'Killing Floor' and 'The Tower'.
He also writes and produces his own music under the name of Derelict Daydream through his own label Tempest Eye Records which has a distribution agreement with Sony Music/The Orchard and has this Produced/Directed several music videos under this name.
He is currently (Feb 2018) dividing his time between freelancing as a Film Editor and producing for Derelict Daydream.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Arch Stanton
