John Sunter graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 1999
with a BA (hons) in Illustration and Animation.
He began as a concept artist and storyboard designer at The Box, Manchester.
He went on to spent two years at Oscar® winning post house The Mill along with Paul Donnellon and Andrew White, working as 2d designer/animator for the Mill Lab. John was responsible for various client accounts including BT, BBC and Sony, working with 'new media' software for broadcast and on-line projects.
While at Oscar winning Post-House, Mill Film, he was their concept artist for developing characters and scenes for Feature productions.
In Copenhagen John was invited as a guest speaker to the annual 3D Festival and was also nominated for the `Broadcast Young Talent competition'.
He directed the Noodles segments for the 3rd series of Monkey Dust for Talkback and the BBC.
