Single Ladies actress LisaRaye McCoy is speaking out about tensions on the set of the VH1 series with her former co-star, Stacey Dash.
The drama about a group of friends in Atlanta from different backgrounds ran from 2011 to 2015. Charity Shea, Travis Winfrey, and D.B. Woodside rounded out the main cast, with Denise Vasi later joining the show.
McCoy sat down for an interview with TV One’s autobiographical docuseries, Uncensored, and discussed an incident she said nearly forced her to lose her temper with Dash.
“One night when we were filming, she put her finger up in my face, and she said ‘you don’t tell me anything.’ Every bit of South Side Chicago was brewing in here,” McCoy said pointing to her stomach.
“It made me say, ‘Stacey, if you don’t get your finger out of my face!'” she recalled telling her co-star. “That was all I had to say.

After weeks of rumors, innuendo, and non-answer answers, it's been confirmed that Stacey Dash will be leaving VH1's hit romantic comedy Single Ladies, which was renewed for a second season. Dash, most known as Val from hit 90s comedy Clueless, released a statement to Global Grind, indicating that the show's shooting location was making it too hard to see her children. There's been no word on a possible replacement for Dash or even if she will be replaced.
It's been a strange summer for Single Ladies fans, as it's been rumored that a rift with co-star LisaRaye McCoy was the cause of Dash's exit. McCoy released a statement earlier this month indicating that she was not the reason for Dash's ouster, as she doesn't have that type of hiring/firing power, and told EurWeb that reports of constant cat fighting have been greatly exaggerated..

For those who may not have seen it, VH1's Single Ladies is a soap about Val, Keisha, and April – three best friends with different philosophies on sex and relationships.
Val (Stacey Dash) is an ambitious aspiring fashion mogul who wants to find a true partner. Keisha (LisaRaye McCoy), on the other hand, is a former video dancer just looking for a rich man to keep her in style. April (Charity Shea,) has supposedly found the perfect man and the perfect marriage – but is learning that marriage isn’t necessarily a happy ending.
VH1 describes Single Ladies as "a modern, sexy series set in the world of Atlanta fashion, music, and celebrity that will constantly explore which woman has the right approach to relationships."
Keisha is dragged further into Malcolm's past on an all-new episode of VH1's Monday night soap opera, Single Ladies, titled "Is This The End?" airing at 9 p.

La, CA, United States (Ahn Entertainment) - Queen Latifah's new show on VH1 "Single Ladies" focuses on a group of three girlfriends trying to work their way through the world of men in very different ways. The shows stars Stacey Dash, LisaRaye McCoy, and Charity Shea.

Adding to the humor was Latifah who was adimant about unacceptable foot fetishes.
Things weren't all laughs, however, during McCoy's appearance on "The Wendy Williams Show." The host and guest first talked about the show, comparing McCoy's character to Samantha Jones from "Sex and the City.

Exclusive: ABC Family's newly picked up comedy series The Great State of Georgia is recasting one of the leads. Veteran Loretta Devine is joining the cast of the sitcom, which centers on Georgia (Raven Symone), an exuberant curvy performer from the south, and her science geek best friend Jo (Majandra Delfino) who try to make headway in New York City. Devine will play the flamboyantly effusive Aunt Honey, a Southern grande dame in a silk Open robe and fur-trimmed mules, who is Georgia and Jo's landlady and a dear friend of Georgia's late mother. Devine, who has been recurring on ABC's Grey's Anatomy, replaces Meagen Fay who played the role in the pilot. Bailey Chase has joined Damages' upcoming season on DirecTV for a major recurring arc. Details on his storyline are being kept under wraps but he is said to be a potential love interest to Rose Byrne.

VH1 must’ve gotten tired of their reality show slate as they are now venturing into unknown territory: scripted television. In other news, ABC Family is bringing more secrets and lies to light by adapting another book from author Sara Shepard, the blessed soul who gave us Pretty Little Liars.
What would you get if you took Bet’s The Game, added a dash of Basketball Wives and The Real Housewives of Atlanta, then gave it a Sex and the City makeover? You would receive Single Ladies, the first hour-long scripted television to come across VH1′s production slate, which stars Stacey Dash (“Clueless”), LisaRaye McCoy (“Players Club”, All of Us) Charity Shea (The Best Years). The cable network will premiere the movie version, which will serve as a backdoor pilot in July 2011 with the series to begin afterwards. The first season will consist of 8 episodes.

VH1 TV Shows | Music Videos | Celebrity Photos | News & Gossip We’re super excited for Single Ladies, VH1’s new movie and scripted series debuting next summer. We were lucky enough to visit the set in May to catch a full day of shooting, and chatted with the cast and crew about why viewers should tune in when the time comes. (As if Executive Producer Queen Latifah and guest appearances by Eve, Common, Chilli and Kim Porter aren’t enough of a reason.) We hung out with Stacey Dash (stunning), Lauren London (adorable), LisaRaye McCoy (gorg), Charity Shea (so pretty) and Timon Durrett (our future baby-daddy) about their work on the movie/series, and they convinced us in .2 seconds to glue ourselves to the television come summertime. As LisaRaye says, Single Ladies is “the female bonding movie that you can also sit down and have your man watch with you.” Uh,...

Queen Latifah's upcoming "Single Ladies" film is heading to the small screen - the movie has been expanded into a weekly U.S. television series. Latifah took inspiration from Beyonce Knowles for the film, about a group of girlfriends who are unlucky in love, naming it after the singer's hit "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)".
And now the movie, starring Stacey Dash, LisaRaye McCoy and Charity Shea, is to become an eight-episode VH1 network series, which is set to launch in July 2011. Latifah, who was not initially featured in the project, is now scheduled to make a guest appearance in the expanded TV version, reports Variety.
She says: "My (producing) partner Shakim (Compere) and I are excited to collaborate with VH1, as they have a similar vision on how to bring this show to life. I think Single Ladies will really fill a hole in what is needed on television today.
