MEDIA RELATIONS


Developed Army Reserve, public affairs marketing plans for on air media from 9/11 to the Iraq Campaign. Provided critical expertise to New York City’s media community, facilitating feature stories on the Fox News Morning Show, NBC Morning Show, WPIX, Telemondo, Univision and international cable news outlets. As a spokesperson, I have been on call seven days a week to respond to media query for incidents, mobilizations, deployments, Reserve soldier morale and issues affecting America’s perception of the Army.

Currently: Department of the Army, Civilian, Public Affairs Officer, for the U.S. Army Reserve, 77th Regional Support Command, Ft. Totten, NY. My training is as a Department of Defense civilian public affairs officer, facilitating regional marketing of Army Reserve stories. I am also the liaison to municipal, state and federal government agencies and elected officials. With NY NATAS, I sit on the Emmy Awards committee and the Chapter Events committee, I am also a former Board of Governors member of the chapter.
