The trailer for Max’s They Called Him Mostly Harmless teases the disturbing true story of the hunt for a deceased hiker’s identity. Premiering on the streaming service on February 8, 2024, the bizarre tale was directed by Emmy winner Patricia E. Gillespie (The Fire That Took Her) and features individuals directly involved in figuring out the mystery man’s identity.
“I was drawn to this story because of its potential to help us think more deeply about what it means to live in the digital age,” explained director Gillespie. “I hope we’ve made a film that manages to both honor the citizen detectives who worked tirelessly to identify Mostly Harmless, while encouraging audiences to get involved in the issue of unidentified persons.”
Max offers this description of the documentary:
“When an unidentified hiker is found deceased in the Florida wilderness, authorities release a sketch. Multiple hikers call in claiming to have met the man.

"Attack Of The Show!" has been cancelled.
According to TV Guide, two of G4's most popular shows will not be returning after December with "X-Play" being nixed as well. The network, which is undergoing a makeover, is sad to see both shows go.
"'Attack of the Show' and 'X-Play' have been important for G4, and we want to acknowledge the creative people who have helped inspire and showcase the phenomenon of gamer culture," G4 Media general manager Adam Stotsky said. "With more than 3,000 episodes aired between them, we have more than enough great material to honor these innovators and their amazing contributions as we bring both shows to a close."
According to a press release, the network is being rebranded and will "move into a more upscale, sophisticated guy TV space" with the possibility of being named "G4Men."

Normal 0 false false false En-us X-none X-none San Diego Comic-Con 2011: X-Play Panel
If you're a true video game fanatic, you have at least two televisions set up side-by-side, because how else could you watch G4's X-Play? The series is one of the most reliable sources of news, reviews and previews for video games anywhere, and on top of that, it's pretty damn entertaining to watch.
So, naturally we made sure to attend the X-Play panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2011. Here's how it went:
The panel opened with its hosts and personalities led in by a Stormtrooper and Jedi honor guard, presumably demonstrating video games' ability to bring absolutely everyone together. It included Kristin Adams, Blair Herter, Morgan Webb and Adam Sessler and was hosted by Wade Beckett. The first question was whether the panelists were excited more for Gears of War 3 or Resistance 3, but even though Gears' executive...

Perhaps surprisingly for a show filled with excitable teenagers who constantly dance up and down precarious stairwells wearing ridiculous clothes, there haven’t been too many falls in 10 seasons of American Idol. So we should pay special attention to Haley Reinhart’s tumble last night during a spirited performance of Led Zeppelin’s “What Is and What Should Never Be.” Haley took the fall in stride, gamely finishing the song with a wide smile on her face.
That misstep appeared to have endeared the singer to the judges (who haven’t always been on her side this season). Steven Tyler said sagely,...

Leslie, My Name Is Evil, is not a horror film, but it is a film that horror fans can appreciate for the same reasons that a mainstream audience might not. It has been getting a lot of press recently, especially since John Waters publicly expressed his outrage at the film, which might be misleading as to what exactly is so shocking about it. Also, reviews are mixed in a 'love it or hate it' way; I personally loved it and will try my best to demystify the common misconceptions about the film...
First off, Leslie, My Name Is Evil does not claim to be an accurate historical film; rather it falls in the 'let's take an historical event/person and add a fictional story around it to retell it in a different way' category.
