Prolific producer Jason Blum brings horror hits to the big screen and now looks to do the same on the printed page. Doubleday and Vintage Books have teamed up with Blumhouse Productions to launch publishing label Blumhouse Books, setting the short story collection The Blumhouse Book of Nightmares: The Haunted City as its first release with Ethan Hawke and Eli Roth among its contributors.
Showcasing more than twenty stories, The Blumhouse Book of Nightmares: The Haunted City will come out in July 2015. In addition to the big name authors, Blumhouse Books is putting on a contest in which fans can submit their own stories for publication consideration, with the winning story securing a spot in the book.
