The multi-talented David Lassiter is a director, actor, writer, producer and musician. He was born and raised in Jersey City, NJ where he attended Saint Peter's Preparatory School on an academic scholarship.
Prior to graduating from high school, Lassiter was discovered by photographer Fadil Berisha on a NJ Transit train. This led to David being signed by Wilhelmina International Inc. During this period he was featured in editorial print, advertising campaigns, catalogs and runway shows for Giorgio Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, Issey Miyake, Vogue, GQ, Banana Republic, Barney's, Swatch, Levi's and many more brands.
Lassiter's passion for acting led him to taking classes at HB Studio, WB Workshops and Susan Batson Studios. He began booking national tv spots for Verizon, American Eagle Outfitters and Macy's to name a few. In addition, he began freelancing with Viacom where he wrote, starred in, and produced 'man on the street' styled interviews which were featured on MTV and MTV2 respectively.
On the big screen, Lassiter is making his directorial debut in The Other, Gold (2024) where he also acts and produces music for the film.
