As we told you all week, the resurrected Rust returned to filmming today in Montana at the Yellowstone Film Ranch.
Call it coincidence, but production resumes on the western just as the state of New Mexico officially drops involuntary manslaughter charges against producer and star Alec Baldwin.

The production has touted the addition of new crew members including Safety Officers Gary Jensen and Paul Jordan (Tenet Production Safety), EP/LP Stephen Marinaccio (Jack Ryan), and Production Designer Christine Brandt (Card Counter).
Returning Rust filmmaker Joel Souza, who was injured in the shoulder from the discharged prop gun that Baldwin was holding back in October 2021, said in statement “Though bittersweet, I am grateful that a brilliant and dedicated new production team is joining former cast and crew to complete what Halyna and I started. My every effort on this film will be devoted to honoring Halyna’s legacy and making her proud.

Rust, the embattled Western on which cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was shot and killed by a prop gun fired by Alec Baldwin on October 2021, is aiming for a Spring return to production. Despite the project’s ongoing legal battles, Rust Movie Productions is about to welcome cinematographer Bianca Cline to the set. Cline’s recent work on Marcel the Shell With Shoes On turned plenty of heads upon release, paving the way for Cline to accept high-profile work. Rust remains in the shadow of Hutchins’ tragic death. Still, Rust is one of the most talked-about movies in production. People say all press is good, but that doesn’t necessarily apply to Baldwin’s Rust movie.
To combat the ill-tidings of Rust resuming production, the film’s producers said Cline would donate her salary to charity in honor of the dearly departed Hutchins.
Rust director Joel Saouza and original crew members will also return to the set.

Rust will resume filming this spring with a mix of new and old crewmembers, including embattled star and producer Alec Baldwin, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. The plans from the production to finish the film come amid the prosecution of Baldwin for manslaughter, multiple lawsuits from former members of the crew against the movie’s producers and an investigation into alleged systemic safety issues on set.
Bianca Cline (Marcel the Shell With Shoes On, American Horror Story) will join the film as its cinematographer in Halyna Hutchins’ stead, according to Rust Movie Productions. A documentary on Hutchins’ life, including her work on Rust, spearheaded by director Rachel Mason and producer Julee Metz, will also commence shooting with the “full support” of the production and Halyna Hutchins’ husband, Matthew Hutchins, who will serve as an executive producer on both titles.

David Fincher's harrowing Netflix drama Mindhunter has returned for season two, and its subject matter is just as creepy as ever. While the crime drama digs into the lives and crimes of numerous serial killers interviewed by FBI agents Holden Ford (Jonathan Groff) and Bill Tench (Holt McCallany) as usual, it continues tugging on the thread of the Btk killer, who's subtly introduced through brief scenes scattered throughout season one. But in the new episodes, Mindhunter makes it clear who he is from the get-go, and spotlights some particularly harrowing details of his murders and his victims.
The Btk Killer - aka Dennis Rader, who's portrayed in the show by actor Sonny Valicenti - murdered 10 people in Kansas between the years of 1974 and 1991. Mindhunter's first season takes place in 1977, when the Btk Killer had already killed five people,...

The story of Dennis Rader a.k.a. Btk continues in Mindhunter season 2. Here is what's happened on his show within the show.
The following contains spoilers for Mindhunter season 2.
Netflix's Mindhunter season 2 continues the story of Holden Ford, Bill Tench, and Wendy Carr as they establish what will come to be known as the FBI's Behavioral Science Unit. Like in the show's first season, however, there is another story operating alongside the detectives' work - mostly unbeknownst to them.
Both Mindhunter season 1 and Mindhunter season 2 have presented little vignettes from days in the life of one of America's most infamous and terrifying serial killers: Dennis Rader a.k.a The Bind-Torture-Kill (Btk) killer. What's interesting and novel about the show's approach to Btk's story is how disconnected it is from the main narrative Holden, Bill, and Wendy operate in.

Not only do we get to see the full list of Dlc characters for Tekken 7's second season pass, but we also have footage of Negan in action!
Back in August, Bandai-Namco announced the second season of Dlc for Tekken 7. Not only did it show off series mainstays Anna Williams and Lei Wulong, but it made it known that the final spot would go to Negan from The Walking Dead. In this game alone, he would join Street Fighter’s Akuma, Fatal Fury’s Geese Howard, and Final Fantasy Xv’s Noctis Lucis Caelum as guest characters.
We still didn’t know about the other three names in the second season of Dlc. There was also question about what Negan would even look like in the Tekken engine. Now we have our answers.
The next two names have been released and are now available to download. First up is Craig Marduk.

Hyper Japan once again descended upon London, allowing attendees to sample the delights of the orient in the big city. The three day event held at Earls Court has grown from its humble beginnings as a one day convention in a leaky studio area, to becoming that last con before the Christmas period and the end of the year.
Turning Japanesa
The show has a lot of charm; everything is geared towards letting you taste the flavours and experience the culture of crazy old Japan. Of course a writer like me has one thing in mind when it comes to Japan, and that's games and animé. Sadly the animé front was a little lacking from my visit on the Sunday. The best I got were stands that sold the various series, much like any convention.
Gaming, however, was a genre well-received, with many promising prospects throughout. Underneath the giant cartoon reindeer,...

Another night at home with the console, eh? Just you, the controller and that old Master Chief T-shirt that you got with your Halo 2 pre-order all those years ago. But it’s okay: you’re not alone because there are thousands of other gamers out there who are all accessible through the world of online gaming, and almost all of whom are in exactly the same boat as you are.
It’s a widespread stereotype that gamers struggle to get girlfriends and, although this is mostly over-exaggerated, there is a lot of truth in it. Now of course there are gamers out there who are in happy and successful relationships and to those we must offer kudos. To the unfortunate majority, however, we offer help. Why is it that modern gamers struggle to get girlfriends? Surely we are not an inherently unlovable group?

Hello everyone and welcome to our favourite day in the British film calendar. We’re here in the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden for the 65th annual BAFTA awards and while the red carpet is being ironed and our colleagues fight off the cold anticipation is building for what should be an excellent evening.
Two of the films dominating the nominations are paeans to the magic of cinema with Michel Hazanavicius’ The Artist and Martin Scorsese’s Hugo up for numerous awards though a particular favourite of ours here on HeyUGuys, Nicolas Winding Refn’s Drive, has been championed within the Academy and find itself up for Best Film, Director and a Supporting Actress nod for Carey Mulligan.
