Less then a decade ago, John left the great-plains of the Midwest to
pursue his dream of filmmaking in Los Angeles. His passion for film
began at the tender age of eight making horror films with his childhood
buddy. Later, as a teen, John made stop-motion shorts using action
figures. More recently, John's quest for excellence led him to the
Digital Media Education Center in Portland, Oregon, where he mastered
the fascinating art of film editing.
Prior to abandoning his childhood roots, John worked his magic as an
editor in the media department of the national headquarters of American
Family Insurance. He also edited the feature length documentary Wedding
Advice: Speak Now or Forever Hold Your Peace, an insightful film about
America's ambivalence towards marriage. Currently John is the assistant
editor of Ringers: Lord of the Fans.
