Born in Belgium, Max's interest and passion for filmmaking began at a
young age. He made his first stop-animation film at the age of eight
and went on to produce/direct/shoot/edit numerous projects over the
course of his life. He studied theatre and acting as a teen, then moved
to Monte-Carlo to attend university where he graduated Cum Laude with a
Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the International
University of Monaco.
Max pursued studies at the New York Film Academy and the Hollywood Film
Institute, and went on to direct & produce music videos, a short film,
and a short-feature. During his time in Los Angeles, he also worked on
various TV and Film sets (The West Wing, Buffy, Felicity, Becker, CSI,
and more). Max returned to Monte-Carlo in 2004 to start the
International Emerging Talent Film Festival.
As Founder and Creative Director of the IETFF, he saw the successful
launch and first edition of the IETFF in May 2007. He is a founding
board member of the International Emerging Film Talent Association.
