Andy Cohen is unbothered.
In a hidden conference room above the lounge of London’s Langham Hotel, I find the Emmy-winning executive producer of Bravo’s “Real Housewives” franchise and the host of “Watch What Happens Live” nonchalantly doodling on a notepad. Despite Cohen’s casual demeanor, taking a seat at the long, wooden table feels like I’m about to hear the state of the union from an important elected official. In a way, this isn’t far from the truth.
Cohen is undoubtedly the president of “The Real Housewives,” which he has been producing — and hosting reunion specials for — since its birth in 2006 with the “Orange County” franchise. Since then, it’s become an international phenomenon with a passionate fanbase, spurring 11 different series in the U.S. and 21 around the world. “Big Brother” Season 26 proved that the CBS competition series is still fully capable of living up to its tagline: “Expect the Unexpected.”
One of the summer’s most shocking twists was the departure of Season 2 winner Dr. Will Kirby as host of the jury roundtable (in favor of “Deal or No Deal Island” Season 2). In his place, Season 24 winner Taylor Hale is officially set to return to the series — and she couldn’t be more excited.
“I’m literally over the moon, I was shaking when they first called and cried, honestly. I was an emotional wreck,” she told TheWrap at Us Weekly and Pluto TV’s: Reality TV Stars of the Year event in Hollywood Thursday. “It matters and it’s exciting, so I’m just really happy.”

The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s future may be unclear, but its sole original star has stayed booked and busy.
As Monsters and Critics reported, Teresa Giudice is set to ruffle many feathers when she joins House of Villains Season 2 next month.
As one of reality TV’s most polarizing villains, there has been much speculation about whether her knack for running her mouth will spell doom for her gameplay.
Teresa likes to get the last word in on any argument, which probably explains why the official trailer for Season 2 showcased her yelling at her co-stars, including Tiffany “New York” Pollard.
Much of the pre-season press material has showcased the pair screaming at each other, which we know will translate to a legendary battle of reality TV titans.
The consensus among fans is that Teresa has met her match in Tiffany, but we won’t get an accurate representation...

There’s a new housewife in town, and she’s not afraid to make a statement. Bronwyn Newport made her Bravo debut in the season 5 premiere of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. But who is Bronwyn? Let’s get to know the newest Rhoslc cast member.
Bronwyn Newport is a friend of Lisa Barlow
Bronwyn’s connection to Rhoslc comes courtesy of Lisa Barlow. She a fan of “over-the-top fashion” and has “sense of humor as sharp as the diamonds she wears,” according to a Bravo press release. She “makes a splash with the ladies with her outrageous, fabulous and confrontational style.”
Bronwyn’s Instagram account (200K+ followers), offers more insight into this Salt Lake City housewife. In her bio, she describes herself as a “Mom, doggie mom, lover of fashion, pandas, drag, Dr. Pepper and the NBA. Champion for inclusion and acceptance for all.” She’s also an “aspiring surfer.

It’s been nearly two years since the chaotic Rhoslc Season 4 reunion when she was ultimately fired. But now, Monica Garcia is ready to make her reality TV comeback.
Monica Garcia Is Back On TV
The reality star recently took to social media to announce that she is heading back to TV. Specifically, she will have an important role in the upcoming season of House of Villains.
She won’t be a contestant on the season. But, Monica has instead been tasked with being the voice of the house. This means she’ll be using the intercom to help the contestants through challenges in the competition.

“And if you thought you knew me from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, think again,” Garcia quipped. “Because this time, I’m not just stirring the pot. I’m narrating the whole damn show!”

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5 premiered Wednesday evening with high drama.
One of the most significant talking points was Whitney Rose being thrown out of Lisa Barlow’s event.
Angie Katsanevas, who was elevated to center snowflake for Season 5, had a bone to pick with Meredith Marks.
The two women came to blows on Rhoslc Season 4, culminating in Monica Garcia claiming that Meredith told her she could file a lawsuit against Angie and potentially take her home.
It was such an unserious encounter that we questioned whether Angie was using this moment to garner more fans.
In one of the most comical scenes of the Rhoslc Season 5 premiere, Angie argued with Meredith and even showed her a scroll with everything she believes her enemy did wrong to her.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City returned for Season 5 on Thursday, but one of its most polarizing cast members was absent.
Yes, we’re talking about Monica Garcia, one of the most talked-about reality TV stars of the year.
As Monsters and Critics previously reported, Monica was let go from the show after her part in a social media account that trolled the cast for years came to light.
Monica solidified herself as one of reality TV’s biggest villains, so her follow-up vehicle isn’t too surprising.
Hours before Rhoslc Season 5 sent a chill through the airwaves, Monica took to Instagram to reveal that she would narrate House of Villains Season 2.
She’ll serve as the voice of the house, which the celebrity contestants will hear in eliminations and challenges when the show returns in October.

Monica Garcia, who?
That’s one of our most significant observations after watching the action-packed Season 5 premiere of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
Whenever we count these ladies out, they pull us back and make us more invested.
That’s no easy feat, but it’s a testament to how much the Rhoslc cast clocks in when the cameras are up.
The good news is that there was minimal talk of Monica in the premiere, signaling that producers were aware that viewers had moved on from all things Reality Von Tease.
In perhaps one of the best storytelling techniques the series has employed, we spent the entire premiere at Lisa Barlow’s Besos event that brought many of her friends and frenemies together under one roof, complete with flashbacks offering context to the drama.
Going into the event, Lisa questioned whether to invite Whitney Rose because the blonde...

When Bravo dropped the official trailer for The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5, there were many surprises.
One of the biggest was the feud between Mary Cosby and Meredith Marks.
They’ve been friends ever since the series premiered in November 2020, so it was apparent that something huge must have happened to derail their friendship.
While Mary has had her differences with most of the cast, she had remained on good terms with Meredith.
Now that we know their friendship has imploded, Meredith is speaking out about her confusion about the whole thing.
“I, at this point, am very confused what the conflict between Mary and I was about,” the jewelry designer shared in an interview with Decider.
Meredith felt that Mary was “kind of coming” at her “out of nowhere for no real reason.”

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Lisa Barlow has been involved in several dramas throughout the years, both on-camera and off-screen, and this one has to do with a certain fashion choice that she stands by.
Lisa Barlow Defends Wearing Real Fur
At a recent event, Lisa was seen walking around in a real fur coat. When confronted about the problematic fashion choice, she did not back down. “I’m always a fur girl. I know it’s so controversial, but I love wearing fur,” she defended.
The reality star further claimed that wearing real fur is good for the environment. “If you really do your homework, you’ll see if they’re made sustainably. It’s like major for you to wear that as opposed to fur.”
It’s important to note that she didn’t elaborate on the exact “homework” sources from which she got this theory.

When The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City returns for its highly-anticipated fifth season later this month, it will be without Monica Garcia.
The one-and-done cast member made waves when she joined in Season 4 and quickly ruffled feathers by calling out anyone who got under her skin.
Instead of trying to fit in with the ladies, she rudely commented about most of them.
It was refreshing for someone not to try to fit in because, having watched more seasons of Real Housewives than I care to admit, new additions typically try to fit in with the existing ladies.
Despite being a breath of fresh air, Monica’s time on the show was concluded after being revealed to be a part of a social media page trolling the cast for years.
As a result, Monica could not move forward with the ladies and was not asked to return.

Mary Cosby would like your attention.
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star is responding to speculation about her marriage to Robert Cosby ahead of the fifth season of the Bravo favorite.
It all started when rumors circulated across social media alleging cameras had picked back up on Rhoslc Season 5 despite filming having wrapped last month.
A rumor spread like wildfire across social media that Mary was preparing to divorce her husband, Robert Cosby Sr.
It’s not uncommon for Bravo reality series to pick back up filming if any major life events happen before the next season airing.
Vanderpump Rules filmed a whole new episode in the aftermath of Scandoval.
Mary Cosby has a message about the rumors
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills resumed filming last year to capture the fallout of Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky’s separation.

Former Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Monica Garcia just announced she had a miscarriage. I would show you my life in all aspects because that is what I agreed to do,” the TV personality wrote. “Unfortunately I need to share a very heartbreaking aspect.” The post features two photos in black-and-white, one with herself on an exam table in a hospital gown as she looks at a screen containing what appears to be an ultrasound. “‘There is no heartbeat’ I don’t have many words and I’m still processing all of this myself,” she shared. “As quickly as this happened, that’s how quickly things have changed.

Despite being let go from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Monica Garcia is still on the minds of her former co-stars.
Recently, every interview you read with a cast member from the Bravo hit has to include sentiments about Garcia.

Barlow cited “trust” as one of the factors in not being able to move forward with Garcia.
In the aftermath, Barlow feels it’s a good decision to move forward and wishes everyone well.

Monica Garcia’s attempt at recreating a scene from the Mean Girls movie — complete with a burn book — was a total fail at The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 4 reunion.
The book didn’t garner the reaction Monica had hoped, as viewers felt it was a total flop, and controversial Bravo star Brandi Glanville agrees.
The Rhobh alum watched the three-part reunion — much like the rest of us — and felt Monica’s prop was a major letdown.
Brandi threw shade a the Rhoslc newbie during a recent interview by saying her burn book looked like it was made by her kids.
If we’re being honest, we don’t always agree with the 51-year-old, but this time she was right on the money.
Monica’s homemade project couldn’t save her job because she was promptly fired despite a memorable first season on the show.

Monica Garcia is exiting The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City after one season.
The Bravo reality star found herself at odds with her co-stars when it was revealed she was behind an Instagram fan account that trolled her fellow housewives.
Andy Cohen, who is an executive producer on the show, explained the reasons for why producers opted to put Garcia on pause.
“The news is out that we are going to have a cooling-off period,” Cohen said on his SiriusXM show Andy Cohen Live.
He continued, “I think the reunion is the chance to come out [and] say why you did what you did on the season. It’s the Supreme Court of public opinion. And so Monica had the opportunity, not only to explain herself to the audience but way more importantly, in this case, to the other women. And I don’t think she successfully swayed any of them to her side.

Tamra Judge has been tuning in to The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City this season, and she has chosen a side.
Not surprisingly, the Rhoc star is Team Monica, and she’s getting bashed online after she showed support for the controversial newbie.
In case you haven’t heard by now, the rumors are true that Monica was recently fired –or at least, put on pause for now.
Plenty of Rhoslc fans are happy about the news, while others are outraged that she was axed after helping to make Season 4 a success.
Monica’s castmates had already made it clear that they wanted nothing more to do with her after finding out that she was behind a troll account and had spent years making cruel comments about them.
The three-part reunion didn’t do much to sway the women because Monica came into it unapologetic about her behavior.

After the explosive finale and three-part reunion to The Real Housewives of Salt Laky City, it would seem that Monica Garcia is out of the franchise.
But, not so fast.
The Bravo reality series and Garcia are taking a break — a “cooling off period,” Andy Cohen clarified Wednesday. That means the door for her return is still open, a source confirms to The Hollywood Reporter.
Speaking on his Radio Andy show the morning after season four concluded with the third and final reunion show, the executive and reunion host said of Garcia’s current status with the show: “We are going to have a cooling off period, I think.”
When pressed by his co-host John Hill about what a “cooling off period” means, Cohen explained that the women are currently not in a position to forgive Garcia, which makes it unlikely they would film with her again. Complicating things is...

Monica Garcia’s time on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is over.
Rumors swirled Tuesday afternoon that the controversial reality TV star had been let go by the Bravo series, and now, the news is official.
People and several other outlets confirmed the news hours before the hit series’ reunion concluded.
Many fans saw Garcia as the show’s savior after many believed it would cease to exist following the departure of Jen Shah last year.
But there’s much skepticism about whether Garcia’s exit will last long.
The mother of four joined the series this season and made waves with her co-stars pretty quickly.

Monica Garcia will not be returning for Season 5 of Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” after she was unmasked in the Jan. 2 season finale as an abusive troll who had anonymously attacked the members of the cast since March 2021. Garcia’s castmate Heather Gay, who’s been on the show since the beginning, had received the “Receipts! Proof! Timeline! Screenshots!” of Garcia’s deception on the final day of filming the show’s fourth season, during a trip to Bermuda.
In an exclusive interview for Variety’s Making a Scene, Gay says when she got the confirmation that Garcia was behind the burner Instagram account Reality Von Tease, she wasn’t even sure she’d even be allowed to bring it up on camera. “Social media has never been a part of storyline,” Gay says. “I didn’t even know if production was going to listen to me.

For Bravo fans, 2024 didn’t begin until the bracing Jan. 2 season finale of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,” which shocked us all into the new year, and made us remember we’re alive.
In the episode, Heather Gay learns that freshman cast member Monica Garcia is, in fact, behind an anonymous troll account — called Reality Von Tease — that’s tormented her and the rest of the cast since March 2021. Gay gets confirmation about Garcia’s involvement during a cast trip in Bermuda, on the final day of filming the show’s fourth season — a twist that was promised in the opening moments of the Season 4 premiere. In a flashforward in the premiere’s cold open, Gay got a mysterious phone call, during which producers scrambled into her room, and we heard her saying, “How could she do this to us? I’m freaking the fuck out!”

Some of you might be upset about this but, rumors are swirling that Monica Garcia has been fired after one season.
It’s been a controversial first season for The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City newbie, but it might be her last.
However, do not expect an announcement quite yet, because part three part of the reunion is still set to play out.
Monica has been the topic of conversation since she joined the show, as her down-to-earth roots and sef deprecating persona were a refreshing change for viewers.
The mom of four came on the scene and gave us the good, the bad, and the ugly.
She immediately came clean about her months-long affair with her brother-in-law –which got her shunned and axed from the Mormon church–and she also gave us a look at the tumultuous relationship with her mother.
However, the 40-year-old was keeping a big secret,...

Perhaps it was when Jennifer Lawrence re-enacted a scene from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season four closer on the red carpet at the Golden Globes, calling the episode, “the best finale I have ever seen on reality TV.” Maybe it was when California Congressman Robert Garcia quoted Housewife Heather Gay’s diva-caliber finale soliloquy, “Receipts! Or maybe it was when dance videos began emerging on TikTok using Gay’s percussive delivery as both backbeat and creative inspiration.

Capitol Hill has been a hot mess all day, starting with the unexpected appearance from Hunter Biden during a House Oversight Committee as the GOP held a hearing on whether to hold him in contempt after declining to show up to a deposition in December.
Amid the turmoil Biden’s visit caused, Democratic congressman Robert Garcia made a case against Donald Trump and channeled The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Heather Gay.
Garcia went viral after a clip of him was shared on social media, where he quoted Gay during a pivotal scene in the show’s Season 4 finale.
“And what do we have as Democrats? We have receipts. Proof. A timeline. Screenshots. We have everything we need to prove conclusively that foreign governments were funneling money through Trump Properties and into Donald Trump’s pockets, all in violation of the Constitution,” Garcia said in the viral clip.

Did Monica Garcia have a master plan all along?
During the shocking season 4 finale, The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City newbie was accused of running an Instagram account dedicated to trolling her ex-friend Jen Shah and other cast members. But according to Heather Gay, Monica’s deviousness runs deeper than just some nasty social media posts. During part one of the Rhoslc Season 4 reunion, she presented receipts that suggested Monica’s friendship with Jen was all part of a scheme to get cast on the Bravo reality show.
Monica worked for Jen Shah for free
Before she was part of the Rhoslc cast, Monica was a friend and assistant to the now-incarcerated Jen Shah. Host Andy Cohen asked her about the nature of their relationship.

The “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” Season 4 ended with a dramatic bang as ratings for the finale reveal an audience of 2 million viewers tuned in to the climactic ending across all platforms over the course of three days, making it the most-watched episode of the series since the first episode of season 1, which aired on Nov. 11, 2020, according to NBCUniversal.
Of the 2 million viewers, 1.1 million of the group landed in the 18-49 demo, pushing the episode to season highs in linear viewing within the 18-49 demo and total viewers along with series highs in Peacock viewing when excluding Peacock-First originals.

Monica Garcia was always a different kind of Housewife.
Even before the events of the Jan. 2 finale of Season 4, the latest addition to “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” set herself apart from her new colleagues. Bravo’s biggest franchise is an ode to the nouveau riche and their tasteless McMansions, but Garcia wore her working class bona fides with pride. Her entry into the franchise was not as a “friend of” or peer to an existing cast member, but a former assistant — infamously, one of many — to Jen Shah, now a convicted felon serving time in federal prison. In her first episodes, Garcia openly discussed her struggles as a single mom and called out costar Lisa Barlow for her materialism. She wasn’t another tequila magnate with a $60,000 ring (Barlow) or a boutique owner bankrolling her son’s monogrammed sweatpants (Meredith Marks). She was a working person, just like you and me.

Jennifer Lawrence is a die-hard Bravo fan, and during her appearance at the Golden Globes red carpet on Sunday she praised The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City for its shocking Season 4 finale.
“I just want to give a shout-out to the best finale I have ever seen on reality TV,” Lawrence said during an interview with Entertainment Tonight. “It was amazing.”
The finale of the Bravo reality series had star Heather Gay exposing her co-star Monica Garcia for her involvement in an Instagram account that trolled the Rhoslc personalities over the years.
Lawrence said that she was “a couple days late” watching the finale of the Salt Lake City-based show, but thanks to the group chats with her friends realized she “had to see this now.”
“I was stone-cold sober because I was starving for this event,” she said while looking straight at the camera and referencing her diet for the Globes.

“Monica is not who she says she is,” Heather revealed to her fellow Rhoslc cast members during the Jan. 2 finale. “She’s not our friend. Andy Cohen is responding to former The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Jen Shah after it was alleged during the Season 4 finale that she was the cause of Heather Gay’s black eye in Season 3.
The fourth season ender of the Bravo reality series came with two bombshells: the first one being that Monica Garcia was leaking information to the Instagram account Reality Von Tease, and the second one that Shah gave her co-star a black eye.
After the finale aired, a statement on Shah’s Instagram account went live to the surprise of many Rhoslc fans, as the former housewife is currently serving time in prison for her involvement in a telemarketing scheme.
“Bravo, if I punched Heather in her eye, you guys would have footage to prove it,” read the statement. “It’s clear the show can’t live without me since I was brought up at the beginning,...

The hottest reality TV stars in show business gathered on Wednesday to celebrate Variety’s inaugural Women of Reality TV power list, presented by DirecTV. Honoring the 40 most powerful women in unscripted entertainment, the Bravo elite mingled with real estate flippers, dancers, judges, singers, survivors, amazing racers and those just looking for love.
Despite being at capacity with women known for delivering on drama, the conversation often revolved around the realities of being vulnerable with the world. And for just one night, everyone was there for the right reasons.
Snacking on caviar potato puffs and Spago’s salmon pizza, the honorees gathered for a cocktail party before the dinner. An elated Heidi D’Amelio of “The D’Amelios” snapped a selfie with “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice, who flew in for the celebration with husband Luis Ruelas. Heather Gay of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City...

BravoCon 2023 brought the drama during the gathering of reality TV’s biggest stars, held at the Caesars Forum in Las Vegas Nov. 3-5. “Vanderpump Rules” star Tom Sandoval, who was booed consistently every time he answered a question at the fan event, got into a push-up battle with co-star James Kennedy. The “Scandoval” participant was part of the “Vanderpump Rules” panel at BravoCon, which kicked off its first day programming on Friday.
Tears were also shed by “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” stars Kyle Richards and Garcelle Beauvais. Andy Cohen put himself in the hot seat for a high-octane start to BravoCon 2023.
The face and central nervous system of the Bravo network and its many reality franchises kicked off a weekend of panels, cocktail parties and a bedazzled trade show on Friday in Las Vegas. Held at the Caesars Forum just off the strip, Cohen sat with longtime friend and ex-Bravo talent Jeff Lewis to field questions from devout fans. Not all were softballs.
An attendee named Alexandra felt the line of questioning Cohen was receiving wasn’t “messy” enough, so she raised the issue of “the reality reckoning” — a concept introduced by rogue former “Real Housewives of New York” cast member Bethenny Frankel. This so-called reckoning seeks not only to unionize reality television stars, but also to call out alleged problematic behavior perpetrated by cast members, individual show producers and Bravo itself. Many of these issues were...
