The collection celebrates the 30 years since the launch of the Manchester superclub, which first opened its doors on May 21, 1982. Chic, Calvin Harris, Jamie xx and James Blake are among the artists who will play this year's Warehouse Project in Manchester. The Warehouse Project 2011, which starts on September 17 and ends on January 1, 2012, will be the last at the event's current Store Street venue. Chic featuring Nile Rodgers, who recently recovered from cancer, play the Smd Delicatessen evening on November 12, with support from techno legend Jeff Mills, Simian Mobile Disco and others. The opening Beginning of the End night on September 17 features DJ Shadow and Skream & Sgt Pokes. The Deconstructed night on October 7 sees performances from Calvin Harris, Felix Da Housecat and Mike Pickering. The Horrors curate on October 15 and play alongside Factory Floor, Toy and more. Doves have revealed that they may split up after their upcoming live show in Manchester. The group play the Warehouse Project gig under Piccadilly Station on October 16 with support from Steve Mason, Field Music and Mike Pickering. Speaking to NME, guitarist Jez Williams said: "It's a bit of a strange one but there are no plans for an album or a tour after this gig. It'll be our last gig for a long, long, long time, if not indefinitely. "We've been together a long time and we're just thinking we want to do individual things and musical ventures.
