Marc Klasfeld is one of the finest music video directors working today.
His work displays a completely different tone than anyone else working
in the business. His unique blend of humor and visuals makes each and
every video he produces something that has not been seen before. His
banner, RockHard Films, houses auteur Tony Petrossian, as well as the
England bred director Ray Kay.
His work has earned him numerous VMA nominations as well as general
world wide praise. His work attracts the likes of rock and rap acts
alike due to his versatility as a director. Marc has also branched into
television with a directing gig for the HBO drama, "Oz".
In 2003 Klasfeld took guerrilla music video production to new heights
with the Alien Ant Farm video "These Days". In a wild publicity stunt
for their album "TruAnt", the boys of the band and Klasfeld crashed the
red carpet of the 3rd annual BET Awards. A film crew filmed the band
members play their single while onlookers from the ceremony looked on
in shock.
Klasfeld recently wrapped his debut feature
The L.A. Riot Spectacular (2005), which stars Emilio
Estevez and Snoop Dogg. The film pokes fun at the Rodney King trial by
using musical numbers and parody too make light of the overblown
situation.
