- Perry Moore was born on November 4, 1971 in Richmond, Virginia, USA. He was a producer and director, known for The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005), The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (2008) and The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (2010). He died on February 17, 2011 in Manhattan, New York City, New York, USA.

- In 2007, Hyperion published Moore's first work of fiction, a young adult novel called "Hero," about a teenage superhero who is struggling both with his emerging powers and his homosexuality.

Lewis Company to write the tie-in companion "The Chronicles of Narnia -- The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe Official Illustrated Movie Companion" (2005). Moore was, in fact, the Walden Media executive who proved to be the driving force behind the company's acquisition of the rights to all seven C.S. Lewis Chronicles of Narnia fantasy novels.
