Exclusive: Seth Brodie, Chief Financial Officer at Anonymous Content, is leaving the company.
Deadline understands that Brodie’s departure is amicable. No word on his next move.
The departure comes as Anonymous Content has been searching for nearly a year for a new CEO following the surprising resignation of Dawn Olmstead and COO Heather McCauley from the company. Sources close to the company told Deadline that it is in the final stages of the search.
The duo resigned in March. Olmstead resurfaced in December, teaming up with Charlize Theron and her Denver & Delilah partners Beth Kono and Aj Dix to launch a new venture.
Brodie joined Anonymous Content in 2021. Before that, he was SVP of finance and strategy at Legendary Entertainment, having joined that company from DreamWorks Studios, where he was VP for finance and strategic planning.

Netflix has tapped Victoria Mahoney to direct its sequel to “The Old Guard,” the superhero action-adventure led by Charlize Theron.
“The Old Guard” premiered on Netflix in July 2020 and, by the streaming service’s vague metrics, appears to have been a hit, garnering 78 million views in its first four weeks. Along with Theron, the returning cast will include KiKi Layne, Matthias Schoenaerts, Marwan Kenzari, Luca Marinelli, Veronica Ngo and Chiwetel Ejiofor.
Gina Prince-Bythewood directed the first film, based on the comic book by Greg Rucka, but opted not to return for the follow-up because she’s busy working on several projects, including Sony’s “The Woman King” starring Viola Davis. Prince-Bythewood was eager to pass the reins to Mahoney, who recently served as second unit director on the J.J. Abrams-directed “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.”

The “Mindhunter” Season 2 trailer dropped Monday, giving fans of the Netflix thriller series a slightly closer look at the show’s version of Charles Manson. Except you might not want to look too closely at him, seeing as it appears he’s sensitive to the fact he’s small — “like, really small.”
The teaser shows FBI agents Bill Tench (Holt McCallany) and Holden Ford (Jonathan Groff) interviewing serial killer Edmund Kemper (Cameron Britton) as they gather information in an attempt to solve the Atlanta Child Murders, a series of killings between 1979 and 1981 that targeted African-American children, teenagers and adults. He advises them on how best to deal with their next killer interview: Manson (played Damon Herriman).
“One more thing, Manson is small, like, really small — try not to stare,” he says in a voiceover, as we see Manson’s figure start to come into focus in the shadows of a prison.

“I didn’t want to talk I’m too drunk,” said director Jonathan Levine after the screening of the world premiere of his film Long Shot on Saturday at SXSW. Levine, who was joined on the stage by stars Charlize Theron, Seth Rogen, O’Shea Jackson, June Diane Raphael and Ravi Patel, admitted that he was nervous that no one was going to like the comedy, which follows an unlikely romance between a by-the-book, influential politician (Theron) and her super-progressive speechwriter (Rogen).
