Aside from an initial announcement, there hasn't been much info on the upcoming Telltale Games/Gearbox collaboration, Tales From the Borderlands. While there still isn't much info to go around, that will all be changing soon as the company has announced they'll be at this year's SXSW (in a couple weeks!) to dish out on the first details of the game.

Gearbox revealed that a sixth playable character will be added to “Borderlands 2” when the game receives its fourth pack of downloadable content, Polygon is reporting.
“Borderlands 2” designer Jonathan Hemingway and director Matthew Armstrong led a panel at last week’s South by Southwest festival in Austin, TX, where they revealed a teaser for a new Vault Hunter housed “deep beneath Pandora.” Described as “an experiment,” the new character can be seen smashing and smushing his enemies into piles of bloody goop.
During the panel, Hemingway and Armstrong mentioned that the lack of a melee-focused Vault Hunter in “Borderlands 2” was a disappointment, which may be a hint that the new character might pick up where the original game’s Brick left off: punching things until they explode. The developers also explained that the team enjoyed creating the stacking mechanics introduced in Gaige’s “Ordered Chaos” tree, but didn...

With the game due out April 24, 2012, from Activision Publishing, Inc., fans looking for a jumpstart at getting a deeper look into the world of Prototype 2 should keep an eye out for this exciting collaboration launching February 15, 2012, which bridges the enigmatic conclusion of the original Prototype and the action-packed beginning of Prototype 2.
The all-new digital comic series will be broken into three original stories: The first entry, The Anchor, illustrated by Paco Diaz, continues the story of Alex Mercer, the protagonist from the first game, while the second story, The Survivors, illustrated by Chris Staggs, follows a small group of...

Radical Entertainment's Design Director Matt Armstrong began his career in the video game industry over 13 years ago working on the seminal classic Final Fantasy VII as a Qa Tester. A few short weeks of this was enough to convince Matt that his future lay more in the creative arts, and he soon found himself working as a 3D modeler, texture artist and animator before eventually finding himself drawn into the world of game design. Since then, Matt has worked in senior design positions at Blitz Games, Rockstar Games and Radical Entertainment, culminating in his current role as Design Director for Prototype 2.
Fun Fact: I have been told that Matt has a serious and disturbing obsession with the Mass Effect franchise and into double figures for the combined number of times he has completed them. Matt is also bravely weaning himself away from this addiction by sticking to a strict, doctor-prescribed regimen of fine Canadian beer.
