When aspiring actress Mamrie Hart started her YouTube show “You Deserve a Drink” in 2011, she had no idea she would be making her first feature film just three years later. Back then, Hart’s friend Grace Helbig had a bit of a following on her own channel, and she decided to give it a whirl. One million subscribers later, and Hart found herself a bona fide YouTube star. Cue feature film deal.
Hart previously penned the script for 2014’s “Camp Takota,” also starring Helbig and “My Drunk Kitchen” creator Hannah Hart (no relation). According to industry insiders, “Camp Takota” saw big returns for producer Michael Goldfine, though exact numbers are unknown. Naturally, the trio fans have dubbed “The Holy Trinity” made a follow-up.

In Dirty Thirty, Mamrie Hart will start as Kate, whose friends (played by Helbig and Hannah Hart) throw her a huge 30th birthday bash in order to cheer her up. The party turns into a legendary rager, and the film’s three leading ladies must bond together to make things right after the events of the evening do not go as planned. In the new trailer, viewers see the Holy Trinity in action. We also get a few glimpses of several guest stars; among them are fellow YouTube stars Anna Akana, Chester See, and Flula Borg, all of whom will appear as party attendees.

It’s all fun and games until the cops get called, right? YouTube sensations Grace Helbig, Hannah Hart and Mamrie Hart have reunited for a new comedy, “Dirty 30,” and just like its title suggests, the film details an epic 30th birthday rager gone bad.
The story follows the three stream queens, as lifelong friends stuck in a rut. Kate (Mamrie) is trapped in a job she hates, sucks at dating and is on the cusp of turning 30. Evie (Helbig) is married but has in-laws from hell and Charlie (Hannah) is recently engaged but can’t seem to pull her business (or her act) together. When Kate’s birthday arrives, her two besties vow to throw her the wildest party and make her have the time of her life. What they unleash is a lot of fun, and a whole lot of chaos.

Fullscreen Films has some celebrating to do. The movie branch of the YouTube multi-channel network Fullscreen debuted the feature film The Outfield, starring Vine celebrities Cameron Dallas and Nash Grier, on November 10, 2015 exclusively on iTunes. And within two days of release, the social media star-led flick landed the #1 spot on the iTunes drama movie chart.
Directed by Eli Gonda and Michael Goldfine, The Outfield features Dallas and Grier, along with Joey Bragg, as three high school baseball stars whose lives all start going different directions than they intended during senior year. The Fullscreen flick, which was produced by Goldfine alongside Gil Kruger, not only landed at the top of the drama films chart in Apple’s iTunes Store, but The Outfield also became the best-selling movie on the platform’s indie films chart.
However, The Outfield can’t claim the same top-level honors for the overall U.S. movies chart on iTunes.

YouTube's "Holy Trinity" Grace Helbig, Mamrie Hart and Hannah Hart are teaming up once again for new movie Dirty Thirty.
The trio frequently collaborate together and last starred as camp counsellors in their first movie Camp Takota in 2014.
This time around, they're joining forces with Lionsgate for their next big movie, in part, because the studio approved the most important aspect of any film: the snacks budget.
"We wanted to expand off the success of Camp Takota by bringing in a major studio," they said in a statement.
"Lionsgate is the perfect partner because they are a big player, but they're a young studio who will support our creative vision and take chances. Plus, they approved our snacks budget."
The trio will star in the film while Mamrie Hart will also co-write the script with Molly Prather.

Just one day after it revealed its plan to distribute Pentatonix’s tour documentary, Vimeo has announced another deal centered around a film that captures YouTube stars on the road. Vimeo On Demand is the home for #O2LForever, Fullscreen and Rockstream Studios’ documentary about YouTube supergroup Our2ndLife (O2L).
#O2LForever director Michael Goldfine tagged along with O2L as the supergroup--composed of members Connor Franta, Kian Lawley, Jc Caylen, Ricky Dillon, Trevor Moran, and Sam Potorff--performed across the Us as part of The Digitour, a cross-country series of events featuring social media stars. Along the way, Goldfine gleaned all the information he needed to create what Vimeo calls the “final account” of O2L; the group split up at the end of 2014.

Fullscreen’s first ever presentation at the Newfronts was filled with news. Among other items, the digital network revealed the first teaser trailer for #O2LFOREVER, a documentary feature that will follow the recent tour of since-disbanded YouTube supergroup Our2ndLife.
The O2L documentary was first announced in June 2014 as the next project from Michael Goldfine, who served as the producer for the film Camp Takota. Goldfine followed O2L as they participated in The Digitour, which took them to cities around the Us last summer. The teaser shares some of the footage collected from O2L’s tour appearances.
Several developments have affected the film since it was revealed. Legendary Digital Media and Fullscreen have partnered with YouTube phenoms Grace Helbig and Hannah Hart in an updated version of Sid & Marty Krofft‘s classic 70’s TV series Electra Woman and Dyna Girl, bringing the property to a new generation of viewers. Fullscreen will debut and exhibit Electra Woman and Dyna Girl in the U.S. with Legendary Television Distribution overseeing global distribution. Sid & Marty Krofft will executive produce the project.
The reboot will start internet superstars Grace Helbig and Hannah Hart as the seventies icons (shut up, this is my article). The series, comes on the heels of Helbig’s crossover from YouTube fame to television as the host of a late night talk show for E! which premieres in April. Both Helbig and Hart have large social media followings with a combined total of over 10 million subscribers and followers over all of their YouTube and social media platforms.

On December 4th, Fullscreen CEO George Strompolos sat down with Peter Kafka at the Code/Media conference in San Francisco. Among other topics, Strompolos discussed the success of Camp Takota, the feature film starring YouTubers Grace Helbig, Hannah Hart, and Mamrie Hart. He stated that, when the film arrived on platforms like iTunes, "hundreds of thousands of people bought it." Strompolos didn't give an exact sales figure, but a ballpark guess suggests big-time revenue for Camp Takota. The most basic version of the film cost $9.99, so even if we assume the most conservative estimate for Strompolos' "hundreds of thousands" line, it would put Camp Takota's total gross at seven figures. Strompolos didn't say exactly how much of a profit the film turned, though he noted that "Hollywood would love to have the returns that they had." Camp Takota's success is very relevant for Fullscreen. Strompolos called Helbig "one...

The Fine Bros may be best known for their short-form React series on YouTube (and soon to be on television), but the two fraternal partners are now taking their creative talents to the big screen. Benny and Rafi Fine (who boast over 13.8 million subscribers across three YouTube channels) will write, produce, and direct a currently-unnamed film in partnership with Big Block Entertainment Group. The upcoming movie is set to be a teen comedy filled with a premise of high school growing pains and angst. Here's the logline from the release: Comedic feature film that takes an over the top look at the clique filled world of high school and how the people you grew up with, and even used to be friends with, often become the same people who torment you by the time you graduate....and now it's time for the outcasts to change all of that. Camp Takota proved prominent YouTube stars can make very successful motion pictures. The direct-to-download feature film about twentysomething besties at summer camp starring online video sensations Hannah Hart, Mamrie Hart, and Grace Helbig was made available for purchase via Vhx and iTunes starting on February 14, 2014. Less than one week later, it was holding steady in the #3 spot on iTunes Top Independent Movies chart (alongside Oscar nominees like Dallas Buyer's Club and 12 Years a Slave) thanks to the nearly insatiable appetite for content of the online video and social media followings of the flick's three female leads. Here, take a look: camp-takota-itunes-charts Camp Takota producer Michael Goldfine of Rockstream Studios (and now Fullscreen) and co-Executive Producers Brian Norgard and Marc Hustvedt of Chill (the pay-to-view online video destination through which the movie was originally set to be released before it closed up shop) placed a relatively risky bet that the aggregate...

The man who helped a trio of YouTube content creators star in their own movie has moved to a major multi-channel network. Michael Goldfine, best known in online video circles as the producer of Camp Takota, will join Fullscreen as its Chief Content Officer. Goldfine's work on Camp Takota was significant because the project marked the most prominent example of a film built on the appeal of YouTube stars and distributed independently through video on demand (VOD) services. Camp Takota, produced by RockStream Studios, starred Grace Helbig, Hannah Hart, and Mamrie Hart as a trio of friends who reunite at their old summer camp. Shortly after its release, it became one of the best-selling independent films on iTunes. At Fullscreen, Goldfine's work will "focus on overseeing the development and production of premium scripted and unscripted content," which will likely include more film projects. In a recent recap of The Digitour's Digifest NYC event, I liked the fanatical support for young YouTube stars to Beatlemania. Going by that analogy, the YouTube community is about to receive its version of A Hard Day's Night. According to Mashable, Connor Franta, Jc Caylen, Kian Lawley, Ricky Dillon, Sam Pottorff and Trevor Moran, who together make up the YouTube supergroup Our 2nd Life (O2L) will star in a documentary that will chronicle their current worldwide tour. O2L's six members are all popular YouTube vloggers in their own right, and their combined effort is one of the fastest-growing channels on YouTube. In the past year, it has accrued more than 1.6 million subscribers and added nearly 200 million views to its tally. O2L videos frequently focus on typical YouTube conceits such as themed videos and challenges, but the group's main strength is its collective ability to look great on camera.

YouTube vloggers Grace Helbig (It’s Grace), Hannah Hart (My Drunk Kitchen), and Mamrie Hart (You Deserve a Drink) have teamed up for a feature-length film, in which a woman returns to her childhood summer camp after her big-city life falls apart.
In our exclusive clip below, Elise (Helbig) settles in for a series of rude awakenings involving actual wakeup calls, gross camp food, archery, finger-painting, and improvised methods of sanitation. Grace Helbig, Hannah Hart and Mamrie Hart are asking millions of fans across YouTube, Facebook and Twitter to do something unfamiliar: actually pay to watch them act. They are selling the film, conceived by producer and financier Michael Goldfine, on their own from the movie’s website, which is powered by New York-based start-up Vhx.
