Malikah Brandi Cameille Pinder is an actress and singer, born in The Commonwealth of The Bahamas. She started singing on stages at age 5, and blossomed into quite the performer over time. Malikah has been known on her home island, Eleuthera, for her dedication to the arts, cultivating performing arts programs on the island such as the Spring Arts Performing Arts Summer Camp for teens (launched in 2016).
Although Malikah originally studied at The College of The Bahamas to become an Early Childhood Educator, she eventually moved on to seriously pursue acting after it seemed she just could not escape the arts. She joined acting groups in Nassau, Bahamas and her acting career began on stage. During her tenure of teaching, her most memorable moments were producing short films with her students. In 2020, she boldly decided to enroll at the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles, California; however, due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, she was forced to begin her studies online, January 2021, then moving to Los Angeles, in August 2021, to complete her studies in person at the La Brea Campus in West Hollywood.
Malikah graduated from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in May 2022 with high honors, and has been on the acting scene in Los Angeles, California ever since. To date, she has held countless background and stand-in/body double roles for productions with Hulu/ABC, Universal Studios, Warner Brothers, and Netflix, and has held both supporting and lead actress roles in multiple short films both in America and The Bahamas, such as BET, Ten Whys, He Knocks, Fan of My Work, Battered, Delayed, Fragment, and Shall We.
