Bask in the 2018 Azerbaijan Grand Prix, where the worlds of Formula 1 and glamorous Hollywood collided, bringing fans an unforgettable spectacle both on and off the track. Isn’t it fascinating how the allure of roaring engines and the desire for speed can entice even the ‘Voice of a Generation’, Christina Aguilera, into its orbit?
During the formation lap, viewers caught a glimpse of the 43-year-old singer, clad in charisma, casually recording the event on her phone—a sight that caused viewers to gasp with delight. However, even seasoned commentator David Coulthard could not resist a playful jab, referring to Aguilera as a fake fan of Formula 1.

Among these high-octane happenings, it is worth noting that Aguilera’s presence was more than just a celebrity cameo; she was there to support Lewis Hamilton, who had a vocal feature on her song Pipe.

Touching reflections from his family and home movie footage make for an intimate biography of the F1 star, if one that leaves his flaws unexamined
‘I miss him every day, but Michael is here,” says Corinna Schumacher at the end of this Netflix documentary, blinking back tears as she talks about life with her husband since he suffered a devastating brain injury while skiing in 2013. That accident is awkwardly and glaringly unmentioned for most of this nearly two-hour film about his life, though of course you’re watching it all – the green-eyed boy wonder of Formula One, his successes, the rivalries and close shaves – in a brace position, waiting for the tragedy to come. Then, in the final 10 minutes, Corinna and the couple’s children, Gina and Mick (a F1 driver like his dad), speak about their loss.

Ayoade and Essex, two very different kinds of men. Watching them try to converse can’t be unlike watching an owl try to mate with a suitcase. Having seen it now though, I just want more. Quick, someone commission a show in which the pair of them team up to fight crime or catch cowboy roofers or conduct a public vote for the nation’s best Center Parcs. Whatever it is, I know I wouldn’t be able to look away.

Ever wonder what it's really like to live like royalty? Well, according to this new video posted to the Prince's Palace of Monaco's Facebook page on Thursday, it's pretty amazing. In the video, which is in celebration of Monaco's 75th Grand Prix, Princess Charlene and her husband, Prince Albert II, open up about the prestigious and glamorous event. While Charlene arrives by boat (and stuns in a gorgeous halter top, sunglasses, and red lipstick), Albert flies in on a helicopter. The couple then join past Grand Prix winners David Coulthard and Mark Webber at the Monaco Yacht Club to talk about their favorite memories from the auto race's past. The video, which could easily double as a Hollywood film, also features appearances by Irish racing legend Eddie Jordan and sports journalist Steve Jones. Watch the rare glimpse into royal life above!

While Jeremy Clarkson and his merry team of co-presenters (Richard "Hamster" Hammond; James "Captain Slow" May) are making that Friends money over at Amazon, the BBC is revamping their iconic motoring series Top Gear with a quartet of relatively unknown people — for this side of the pond, anyway. Micky Flanagan has showcased a daring new look for his Detour de France documentary series.
The comedian and his friend Noel Lynch travelled across France for the trip show, which Flanagan previously described as "not a travelogue".
In tonight's (November 17) episode, Flanagan and Lynch head to the south of France where they encounter a gypsy festival, a winemaker and an artistic gardener, before visiting the psychiatric hospital which was once home to artist Vincent van Gogh.
The boys also take a trip to Monaco, where they embark on a bike ride with former F1 driver David Coulthard.
However, the trip takes an interesting turn when the pair head to Cannes and visit a transvestite bar, where they are persuaded to give drag a go. And the results truly are a sight to behold!

Geez, these F1 2013 videos are coming on fast and furious (haha, cars!). In the most recent trailer for the upcoming racing sim from Codemasters, the focus is placed on the seemingly very important Ferrari 312 T2. I’m not intimately familiar with it or anything, but that doesn’t change the fact that it looks incredibly sexy coming around the bend at the beginning of this video.
Aside from slow motion car porn, the trailer is essentially a promo for the game’s new Classic Edition. In that version, you’ll be able to race famous cars, drivers, and circuits from various eras of F1 history. My knowledge on that is a bit stiff, but I imagine F1 junkies will really get a kick out of it. Other sports games have been doing this kind of thing for years, so it’s definitely a good move on Codemasters’ end.

The rest of the jargon is kind of lost on me, but I’m sure anyone more familiar with the series or the sport will eat this up. So for those folks, be sure to check out the press release below. The trailer below is both awesomely and comically dramatic, so that’s something as well.

In October, Felipe Massa secured another season sitting in a Ferrari for the upcoming calendar – despite having a dismal start to the season, the Brazilian was rewarded for a string of improved performances, including a podium position in Japan. That was his first podium in 35 races. He has always been a number two in Ferrari colours, but does the 31 year old still have the pace to compete for one of the top 3 teams in the sport?
Massa’s career in red has been an eventful one to say the least: replacing fellow Brazilian Rubens Barrichello for the 2006 season at Ferrari, Massa landed himself a seat partnering Michael Schumacher in the German’s farewell year. Finishing on the podium in the European, French and Japanese GPs, plus victories in Turkey and is home race in Interlagos, Massa’s first season with Ferrari was fairly successful. Sky, the BBC and Formula One have been cleared over a post-race interview last year in which drivers Sebastien Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen turned the air blue.
After the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on November 4, 2012, presenter David Coulthard interviewed the drivers on the podium for the live broadcast feed provided by Formula One Management.
Coulthard asked Vettel, whose podium finish edged him closer to his third straight world title, at 3.05pm UK time: "Well, your name is up there as a double world champion. Do you now feel that you've got your hand on one side of the cup for a third world title?"
Vettel responded: "Um, I think there's still two races to go so obviously we see how quickly things can change. Yesterday was a surprise for us. I think would we have started from third it would have been a different race but, yeah, it [today] was obviously...

Circuit of the Americas Summary
The last two races in this year’s season saw a brand new track for everyone and a classic which has been on the Grand Prix calendar for several years. Last week we saw F1 return to the USA at the new Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. With the circuit being freshly laid it made the track very interesting to drive on as it offered little grip to the drivers. Qualifying wise Vettel managed to snatch pole from a very fast Hamilton, and the other title contender Alonso, could only manage 7th. The race as a whole was great. Lots of overtaking, and very large run off areas made it an interesting race with some great moves throughout. Hamilton managed to pass Vettel for the lead to clinch his fourth victory but it wasn’t enough to impact on the title standings. Alonso...

An eighth different driver winning a race and this time it was the ever out spoken Kimi Raikkonen of Lotus. The Lotus team (formally Renault of course) hadn’t won a race since 2008, and it was Raikkonen’s first win since 2009 when he left to try his hand at rallying. He had mixed results in rallying so it is good to see the “Ice Man” back on top in F1.

The Fia have warned all the drivers about bad language during live interviews for the media. This comes about after both Raikkonen and Vettel swore in their post podium interview with David Coulthard. A spokesman for the Fia said there could be disciplinary actions in the future if another instance of bad language occurs during a live broadcast.
Caterham have a new Team Principal. Cyril Abiteboul has become the youngest team boss at just 35 years old. He’s younger than Michael Schumacher!

Lewis seemed to have gained his winning ways back, and this could possibly have put him back into championship contention. Going into the race around the Marina Bay Street Circuit Fernando Alonso had a 37 point lead over Hamilton in the championship and almost had the luckiest Ferrari since the Schumacher era. Alonso has been the most consistent so far with only one non points finish caused by a certain Frenchman trying to fly a car. The Frenchman in question, Grosjean, was back to racing after his ban so could he hopefully have some success for a change? Either way, onto the only night race in the calendar.
Qualifying
Speaking of the Frenchman Grosjean, he set the fastest time in Q1 guaranteeing himself a place in Q2 alongside his teammate Raikkonen who also posted an impressive first session time. Q1 saw the familiar faces of Hrt, Marussia and Caterham dropping out at the first qualifying hurdle.

The summer break for the Formula 1 drivers is now over. They have had their time to relax and are greeted by one of the most historic race tracks in the calendar. Spa Francorchamps. The legendary circuit has been part of F1 for well over 60 years (in one form or another) and has always pleased the crowds with great racing, great overtaking and an occasional large incident. The race at the weekend was certainly all of these.
Friday practice is one of those things that you rarely watch. If there isn’t a good news breakfast show on or an early film you wouldn’t even know it was there. Spa’s was utterly washed out. Nothing massively interesting happened bar what could only be described as the longest pad I have ever heard a commentator do. Top marks to James Allen and Jaime Alguersuari (former Toro Rosso driver from 2009 to...

BBC Sport presenter Jake Humphrey has revealed that he's excited about competing with Sky's coverage of Formula One this year. Sky will share the rights with the BBC for the first time this year and the broadcaster has already announced plans for a dedicated channel to the coverage. They have also poached the BBC's lead commentator Martin Brundle to front their shows. Speaking to Digital Spy about the battle for viewers between the BBC and Sky, Humphrey said: "I'd love to have every F1 race on the BBC, but that isn't the case and we have to make the best of what we have. "I think there are some benefits to the changes. In terms of our talent lineup, I think it's the best we've ever had. We've got Gary Anderson who has actually designed a Formula One car, we've got David Coulthard stepping into the commentary box, we've (more...

Hollywood action hero Tom Cruise showed off his driving skills in a Formula 1 car and received rave reviews from impressed former race star David Coulthard.
The Mission: Impossible hunk enjoyed a secret test drive of the Red Bull F1 car in California under the watchful eyes of Coulthard, and the stunned sports star hailed the actor as "the real deal".
Coulthard says, "I was surprised that he picked it up so quickly and is such an accomplished driver. His recall was incredible considering how complicated driving a F1 car is. He's a guy who really pushes the envelope in real life. He thoroughly impressed me."
Cruise, who also starred in racing movie Days of Thunder, has previously shown off his motoring skills on British car show Top Gear.
