Mike Jean
Composer, arranger, producer, humanitarian at heart, Marc Jean Baptiste, aka Mike Jean, known by his friends as a family man, founded MLife Music Group for the development of young and talented artists, to give them a platform where they can freely show their passion and dreams through music and art.
In 2009, he created a program called Music for Them, by which artists would volunteer and donate their time to perform at hospitals, churches, and schools. That effort started at Abbott House Juvenile Detention Center in Swan Lake, N.Y., and was a complete success.
Mike Jean continues to show dedication to philanthropy, and has partnered with NY Cares, Red Cross, the United Nation, Unspoken Smiles, American Cancer Society, St-Francis of Assisi, and Tedx WaterStreet, just to name some.
In 2021, as a token of appreciation because of his dedication to help the needy, he received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the White House, signed by the highest man in power, the President of the United States of America himself, Mr. Joseph R. Biden, Jr. With his expertise and through these partnerships, the program he created has grown so far to at least eight countries and thirteen cities throughout the Caribbean, South America, Europe and Africa. Hope for Them Foundation has been instrumental in providing greatly needed support around the world.
All and all, as a music producer and philanthropist, Mike Jean, through MLife Music Group and Hope for Them Foundation, seeks to enhance the quality of life and lessen its burden by bringing joy for those in disaster and poverty-stricken areas around the globe, while bringing together our passionate community of music lovers
