A submarine vanishing prompts a rescue operation that comes face to face with the cause -The Loch Ness Monster. Having escaped the Loch, it is now unleashing decades of pent-up aggression on all those it encounters. In a fight for survival, our team of rescue operatives must overcome the terrors both beneath them and within their ranks.
Here we are again, with yet another film in the seemingly never-ending inter-connected world of British low-budget horror filmmaking. This one comes from Dark Asylum Films, a production/distribution/sales shingle originally started by Rhys Frake-Wakefield who’s worked with the likes of Scott Jeffrey on Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey, which also starred the superb May Kelly, who appears in this film...

We’re back in Jagged Edge Productions territory with Snake Hotel, which stars Scott Jeffrey regular Danielle Scott as one of a group of women given a chance to get out of prison early if… if… they agree to take part in a game of cat and mouse with a giant mutated snake. A snake!
Hey, at least we’re not retreading nursery rhyme or fairytale terror in this one!
As bizarre premises go, Snake Hotel isn’t actually that weird – after all, back in 2021, Jagged Edge Productions produced Dinosaur Hotel which had pretty much the exact same premise, only with (obviously) dinosaurs instead of snakes! Well, not quite the same premise. Dinosaur Hotel...

Monsternado is, as far as I can tell, a first, this obvious rip-off of the Sharknado franchise marks the first time somebody has turned the tables and mockbustered The Asylum. And it probably won’t be a surprise that Scott Jeffrey is involved with it.

This really concerns him because it has some connection the the Northern Lights being seen over the Bermuda Triangle, which proves what he’s been saying for the past twenty years.

Tyler-James has been involved with several projects that have caught our attention in recent months. The filmmaker has produced the films that turn the popular nursery rhymes Mary Had a Little Lamb and Three Blind Mice into horror stories, and directed The Loch Ness Horror. Now a trailer for a new Tyler-James project has arrived online. This one is a creature feature called Monsternado, and you can check out the trailer in the embed above!
Uncork’d Entertainment will be giving Monsternado a digital and DVD release on November 14th.
Tyler-James directed the film from a screenplay by Derek Miller, who previously wrote episodes of Dads in Parks and It’s Pony. This one has the following synopsis: A tornado, infested with prehistoric monsters, has formed in the Bermuda Triangle, and is making its way towards land. Megalodon, Pterodactyls, Giant Octopuses, Crocodiles, and more attack – now the city must fight to survive against these deadly creatures.

We’re back in “fairytale” fear film territory once again for Three Blind Mice which, like Mary Had a Little Lamb, is based on the classic kid’s nursery rhyme and is the latest British horror film to take a beloved childhood “thing” and turn it into something terrifying. It’s also the second film from Dark Abyss Productions released by Uncork’d Entertainment this month – and the second film where the producer (whose name is On This Film!) told me to remove his name off the exclusive news piece I ran months ago where we unveiled the official artwork for Both films. Why? Because he, and I’m paraphrasing, thinks they’re both so terrible he doesn’t want them to “spoil” his career…...

We’ve previously shared the news that ITN Studios, the company that brought us Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey, is working with producer/director Louisa Warren on two fractured fairy tale horror movies: Cinderella’s Curse and Sleeping Beauty’s Massacre. Yesterday, we saw a batch of images from Cinderella’s Curse, and now – thanks to our friends at Bloody Disgusting – we have some images from Sleeping Beauty’s Massacre. You can check them out at the bottom of this article.
Coming our way from ChampDog Films and filming in Scotland, Sleeping Beauty’s Massacre was scripted by Jasmine Ebony Thomas and tells the following story: The beautiful Princess Thalia is thrown to ruins after her father’s mysterious death. She lives with Prince Edison who she is in love with but can no longer marry since losing her status. Queen Velma wants the kingdom for herself and will use her dark powers, and use of the occult,...

Producers/directors Louisa Warren and Scott Jeffrey have worked together multiple times, crafting films about creepy mermaids, scarecrows, and dolls. They’ve even made several horror Tooth Fairy movies. Jeffrey is currently collaborating with Rhys Frake-Waterfield on a series of films that will put a horror twist on public domain children’s stories like Peter Pan, Bambi, and Winnie the Pooh – and it started with Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey. While they work on that, Warren has announced (via our friends at Bloody Disgusting) that she has two fractured fairy tale horror movies in the works: Cinderella’s Curse and Sleeping Beauty’s Massacre!

We broke the news last week that Cinderella is getting her own horror movie with the upcoming Cinderella’s Curse, and Bloody Disgusting has learned this week that the same production company is developing another horror spin on a classic children’s tale.

ITN Studios will be distributing the upcoming horror movie, which will be produced and directed by Louisa Warren (Cinderella’s Curse). Jasmine Ebony Thomas is writing.

It saw the prolific producer turning his hand to a monster movie rather than an all-out horror film – tapping into that great British tradition of dragons roaming the British Isles. And now a mere 15 months later we’ve got a sequel… Dragon Fury: Wrath of Fire, or Dragon Fury 2: Return to the Mountains as it appears on the screen; picks up after the events of the first film, with that movie’s survivor, Vanessa (Nicola Wright), in hiding after being threatened by the government.
