A slew of character posters have been released for the upcoming cinéma vérité flick Report 51, one of which shows off the creature in all its glory. Dig it!
The film directed by Alessio Liguori stars Michela Bruni, Luca Guastini, Viola Graziosi, Damiano Martina and Ann Pierssens and is currently in post-production.
According to the official Report 51 website (which is home to lots of viral goodies), "the found footage [presented here] is what four unaware American students experience after a strange and nonetheless unintentional sighting. They decide to organize a weekend in the woods to research what is going on, and the video-documentary is the faithful recording of a happy jaunt among friends which soon turns into a terrific nightmare and a struggle for life. These four friends quickly forget their jealousies and the juvenile flirts to escape from an impending extraterrestrial threat."

With a lot of strong feelings either for or against 'found footage' films, it will be interesting to see how many continue to be made. One thing is for sure, people still watch them and they are still being filmed.
Report 51 is one of those movies and has already created quite a buzz online. Check out the trailer underneath the official release below.
