Three years into their partnership, producers Jonathan Axelrod and Kelly Edwards are in the midst of their busiest development season. So far, their Axelrod/Edwards Co., based at Paramount Network TV, has set up five drama series projects: one at CBS, two at UPN and two at Lifetime. That is halfway toward Axelrod and Edwards' goal of selling a total of 10 projects this season -- five dramas and five comedies. Through their first-look deal with Paramount, which was extended in June for another year, the studio is attached to produce the CBS and UPN projects. All five projects have received script commitments from the networks. The CBS drama, Zen Justice, is based on Elizabeth Cosin's Zen series of books about a female private investigator picking up her life after a bout with cancer.
