Diana B
- Music Department
- Composer
- Soundtrack
Diane became Diana B in a rap session at the old Calliope Studios in
New York City, and she decided to keep the name... Her background
includes playing double bass at Tanglewood in the summers, extensive
music theory and composition at Boston University, and a large dose of
theatre. Most notably, she was the music director of an improvised
musical revue, "The Proposition", for many years, both in Boston and
NYC, and has also written several musicals, including a taste of the
Big Mango named "I Heart New York" which had a short but happy life on
West 46th St. Now, surrounded by gear of various persuasions, she's
turned her attention to recording and film. She can write in any style
and produces music so quickly she might be accused of legerdemain...but
it's the real deal, no question! Rock, pop, r&b, classical,
contrapuntal; she can produce whatever your film needs. "The best
scoring supports the vitality of the film but does not
intrude"...
