Big Brother alum Derek Frazier is ready to return to TV.
Derek finished as the runner-up on BB23, where Xavier Prather was named the winner.
That season of Big Brother was dominated by one alliance, as The Cookout took all its members to the final six.
Derek often posts on social media about what’s happening in reality TV, and now he is shooting his shot for several shows.
There had been rumors about him appearing on a season of The Challenge USA, but that didn’t come to fruition.
Could Big D be an interesting name to invite back for a future season of Big Brother?

Big Brother 23 featured Derek Xiao and Claire Rehfuss.
The BB23 cast members were on the wrong side of The Cookout alliance that summer, leading to their early exits from the game.
But Derek and Claire made it to the jury phase. A romantic relationship developed between them in the jury house.
The secret of the relationship between Derek and Claire was kept close by their fellow jury members, and it only became public after the season finale.
As a reminder, The Cookout dominated that season, taking all six of its alliance members to the end.
The BB23 jury voted unanimously for Xavier Prather to win over Derek Frazier. It made Xavier the first winner of the $750,000 prize. The prize had been at $500,000 for the previous 22 seasons.

Ho, ho, holy comeback. Nicole Franzel pulled off not one but two comebacks on Thursday’s “Big Brother Reindeer Games” to become the holiday spin-off’s inaugural champ — and save Christmas, of course. The “Big Brother 18” winner took down Season 23 champ Xavier Prather in the semifinal despite have a 30-second delayed start and then defeated Season 24 winner Taylor Hale in the final after being well behind in the first two of three rounds. But the final round, during which they had to stack 32 snowflakes, leveled the playing field.
“Mentally, for me, it’s easier to be like, ‘Ok, nothing lost if you don’t get this, they have an advantage, they’re kicking your butt. Just chill.’ I think her being so ahead of me is what helped me with the antlers because I was like, ‘I got nothing to lose at this point. I don’t even know if...

Big Brother Reindeer Games, the surprise hit of the holiday season, came to a close on Thursday night (December 21) as the Christmas-themed spinoff crowned its first winner. The two-week special kicked off on CBS on December 11 and saw nine former Big Brother houseguests enter “Santa’s Lodge” where they battled it out in a series of holiday-themed competitions in an effort to “save Christmas.” Those nine returning players were Xavier Prather, Taylor Hale, Nicole Franzel, Frankie Grande, Cameron Hardin, Cody Calafiore, Danielle Reyes, Josh Martinez, and Britney Haynes. The show was hosted by fellow Big Brother alumni Derek Xiao, Tiffany Mitchell, and Jordan Lloyd. Thursday’s finale came down to a face-off between Season 24 winner Hale and Season 18 winner Franzel. The pair had to scale a pile of foam pieces, navigate a maze, and build a tower out of snowflakes, and it was that last part that proved the trickiest.

And then there were four. But which ho-ho-houseguest ultimately claimed victory and saved Christmas?

Not to be hyperbolic, but “Big Brother Reindeer Games” has delivered some of the best and most exciting comps and comp results in franchise history in just three episodes so far. In the second episode, Cody Calafiore, as the Naughty and Nice challenge winner, got to pick his teammates for the Jingle Bell Brawl and assembled a comp beast dream team of his Season 16 cohorts Frankie Grande and Nicole Franzel, in addition to Xavier Prather, leaving Danielle Reyes, Josh Martinez, Britney Haynes and Taylor Hale on Team Underdogs.
But anyone who thought Cody’s super squad would dominate was very, very wrong. Even with Taylor having to decorate an extra tree as her disadvantage punishment, the underdogs breezed through the comp — and at one point were two trees ahead of Cody’s team — and pulled off the upset to secure safety. But the Season 22 champ, who was eliminated in Santa...

Big Brother has been on the air for over 23 years, delivering wild twists, quests for power, and drama.
This year's entry -- Big Brother 25 -- was the show's longest to date, clocking in at 100 days- long, resulting in one of the biggest duds in its history.
If you were in the market for twists that went nowhere, the game being randomly paused for a week thanks to a twist, and evictions not sticking, it was the season you've always been waiting for.
As a fan since the beginning, I want to forget about Big Brother Season 25 because it went on too long and didn't have the excitement of prior seasons due to the terrible pace.
While there were rumors that CBS could be prepping a Legends season for the winter as the network struggles with a lack of shows due to the strikes, we're getting something different.

It’s not nine lords a leaping but nine alums competing again in the “Big Brother” house. “Big Brother Reindeer Games” unveiled its full cast on Thursday and it’s probably who you might’ve expected.
The cast features five “Big Brother” champs — Cody Calafiore, Nicole Franzel, Taylor Hale, Josh Martinez and Xavier Prather — in addition to Season 12 America’s Favorite Player Britney Haynes and reigning Season 25 Afp Cameron Hardin. Rounding out the cast are “Bb” legends Frankie Grande and Danielle Reyes.
The inclusion of Britney, Frankie and Danielle isn’t too surprising since they were the ones who activated the multiverse on Season 25 with the Time Laser and unleashed “Reindeer Games” when they attempted to fix it on the finale last month.

Ahead of Big Brother‘s return to CBS with season 25, Julie Chen Moonves is opening up to Et about who the network originally wanted as host and how much longer she sees herself working on the reality TV competition.
When asked if there’s anything the fans of the hit series — which sees a group of strangers forced to co-exist in a shared house while they are isolated from the outside world — don’t know, Moonves says that CBS wanted another daytime TV fixture to host. “I wasn’t the first choice to host. Big Brother fans have seen alliances form before, but big ones usually don’t last. Tiffany Mitchell, Kyland Young, Derek Frazier, Xavier Prather, and Azah Awasum formed The Cookout in the first week. They later included Chaddha.
They were the Black houseguests and their mission was to have the first Black winner of Big Brother. Mitchell came up with a plan for all of them to align with someone outside the alliance. This helped them keep tabs on their strategy. If someone in The Cookout were on the block, they would have the votes to evict the other person.

The Challenge: USA kicked off its inaugural season in July 2022, which invited CBS reality TV stars to compete as the flagship usually only includes MTV personalities. Former Big Brother houseguests, including two-time finalist Enzo Palumbo, season 20’s Angela Rummans, who won five competitions, David Alexander (BB21), and season 23’s Alyssa Lopez and Derek Xiao, as well as popular The Cookout members Kyland Young, Azah Awasum, Tiffany Mitchell, and winner Xavier Prather competed. Although the USA appeared to have potential, the season flamed out in the finals when nearly all the contestants couldn’t figure out a sudoku puzzle, causing them to quit. Regardless, it’s rumored the show will return with a second season, and these Big Brother 24 houseguests should compete.

Big Brother 23 runner-up Derek “Big D” Frazier believes his weight plays a part in why he hasn’t appeared on other competition shows, as several of his castmates recently returned to reality TV for The Challenge and The Amazing Race.
Derek Frazier thinks competition shows won’t cast him due to his weight
Several Big Brother alumni have become recurring cast members on the MTV competition series The Challenge, including Faysal “Fessy” Shafaat, Josh Martinez, Amber Borzotra, and Kaycee Clark, with the latter two winning a season. Additionally, season 20’s Angela Rummans and season 23’s Alyssa Lopez and Derek Xiao, and Cookout members Azah Awasum, Kyland Young, Tiffany Mitchell, and winner Xavier Prather joined the first season of CBS competitive spinoff The Challenge: USA.
Shortly after casting for USA Season 2 and The Challenge 39 reportedly began in late February 2023, BB23 runner-up Derek “Big D” Frazier tweeted his belief about not getting called for the series.

Twenty years to the day after Danielle Reyes finished second on “Big Brother 3,” Taylor Hale became the first Black woman to win the game when she beat Monte Taylor in Sunday’s Season 24 finale — and don’t think Danielle didn’t notice.

She also won America’s Favorite Houseguest, the first game winner to take home the 50,000 prize.
Entering the finale, Taylor was dejected after losing the first two parts of the final Hoh to Matthew Turner and Monte Taylor, respectively, meaning she would have to rely on one of them to bring her to the final two. Big Brother was one of four CBS reality TV shows that brought cast members to The Challenge: USA, a spinoff of MTV’s popular competition show.
Among those Big Brother stars was David Alexander, who originally appeared in Season 21 of the CBS show, then returned for Season 22, aka All Stars.
David didn’t have the best showing during his original reality TV show, becoming the first player evicted in Bb 21. He fared slightly better in Bb 22, as the ninth player evicted and got onto the All Stars jury.
However, his appearance as an underdog who defied the odds on The Challenge: USA may have boosted his status in the reality TV world.
He recently opened up about how he’s been training hard to appear on The Challenge again, with three potential shows he could go on.

Spoiler Alert: This story contains details from Thursday’s live eviction on CBS’ Big Brother.
Big Brother 24 player Kyle Capener, who earned the nickname “KKKyle” on social media this summer for language that was deemed racist by viewers, was evicted Thursday from the CBS reality show.
Capener, an unemployed 29-year-old from Bountiful, Utah, drew ire by making fun of a fellow player’s Brazilian accent, and telling another houseguest that his hat looked like it belonged to a Filipino rice farmer.
But his biggest breach was expressing concern that an alliance was forming among the house’s Bipoc players that was similar to last year’s Cookout, the all-Black alliance that led to an historic win by Xavier Prather. Though Capener never directly said that he and his fellow allies should form a “white” alliance, he was shown in Wednesday’s episode telling fellow white players on Day 39 that “I...

But his biggest breach was expressing concern that an alliance was forming among the house’s Bipoc players that was similar to last year’s Cookout, the all-Black alliance that led to an historic win by Xavier Prather. With only a few episodes left before Tj Lavin’s final, The Challenge: USA may have lost some of its viewers along the journey.
Based on recent statistics, the CBS spinoff show’s eighth episode experienced a dropoff in terms of its ratings and the overall number of viewers.
In The Challenge: USA, Episode 8, viewers saw the game change as competitors continued to do their best to win daily challenges and strategize their way to the final.
It featured another elimination, with The Challenge host bringing out his all-time favorite for a head-banging event.
However, viewership and rating data suggest a slight dropoff occurred between Episodes 7 and 8 of the CBS spinoff series featuring Big Brother, Amazing Race, Love Island, and Survivor stars.
This report will contain some spoilers through Episode 8 of The Challenge: USA.

The key to winning “The Challenge: USA” is to prevail in the Final Challenge, but in order to qualify for that, contestants must first accumulate at least 5,000 throughout the season. At the start of CBS’s reality TV show, each person was given 1,000 in their banks. In The Challenge: USA, Episode 7, teams will clash in a physical daily challenge for the first time of the season. However, they’ll do some from within some hard-hitting vehicles rather than their bodies.
The latest event will feature Challenge bumper cars as teammates will ride inside the vehicle and navigate a dirt course. Like many other challenges, a twist makes things unique and more difficult.
For this particular daily, the teammate driving the car will be unable to see anything as they’ll have a helmet featuring a blacked-out visor on front.
Their partner will be frantically trying to guide them by shouting out instructions as their teammate does their best to drive while blind.
Based on the sneak peek footage, host Tj Lavin is getting a kick out of this...

While MTV’s The Challenge and Paramount Plus’ The Challenge: All Stars have seen some intense moments, viewers watching the CBS spinoff of the competition show hadn’t quite seen anything too dramatic within the first four episodes.
However, that changed when Episode 5 arrived, and castmates who thought they had trustworthy allies realized that wasn’t necessarily the case.
According to several of The Challenge: USA cast members, the situation became so intense with castmates following one elimination that security needed to stay over to ensure everyone was safe.
The footage didn’t show that during the episode, but it may be why things didn’t get too intense between cast members in the compound.
The latest revelation arrived as part of an exit interview, with several eliminated competitors spilling the tea on alliances, including the Survivor group,...

When Xavier Prather entered the “Big Brother” house in 2021, he wasn’t in a great place. As he shared on the show, his brother had died shortly before he began filming. Still, he used it to fuel his “Big Brother” ambitions — and went on to become the first Black winner on the CBS reality show.
When “The Challenge: USA” called, Prather wasn’t sure he should return to reality TV. While he didn’t like that five other houseguests from his season were also on the show — “It felt like a setup,” he says — that he was able to put aside.
“I almost didn’t go on because I was dealing with some very personal things, but ultimately I got support from my family,” he shared on a recent episode of Spotify’s “Reality Rundown” podcast. “No one on ‘The Challenge’ compound, with the exception of one person, actually knew.
