Born in Rochester, New York. Raised on an apple farm overlooking
Lake Ontario.
Moved to Boston, Massachusetts, after graduating with a degree in
Business & Marketing from the State University of New York at Geneseo.
Lived in Woodstock, Vermont while pursuing her interests and education in the arts.
Worked as a professional copywriter and graphic designer before embarking on a career in film.
Survived a head-on collision with a Mack Truck on Route 4 outside of Woodstock, Vermont.
Was inspired by the documentary work of Ken Burns to pursue an education and career in creative writing and film.
Became interested in screenwriting while pursuing a Masters of Arts in Liberal Studies at Dartmouth College with a focus on creative writing.
Worked as a teaching assistant to Dartmouth professor and professional
screenwriter, Bill Phillips in 1997-1998.
Attended the 25th annual Telluride Film Festival in 1998 as a part of
the student symposium and subsequently moved to Los Angeles to pursue a
career in film.
Broke into screenwriting with the option of a supernatural horror spec.
