Christopher Hall is an award-winning director/photographer working with both major brands and unique people across the world. After spending the first half of his career in narrative film & tv, Chris has gone on to forge a unique path directing and photographing for some of the biggest brands, including AT&T, Google, Amazon, and Bravo TV's Top Chef.
Over his twenty-five year career that stretches across film, television and digital, Chris has worked with a cross section of some of Hollywood's most fascinating characters, including actors Keanu Reeves, James Gandolfini, Timothy Olyphant, Padma Lakshmi, and Kevin Pollak, and writers Stuart Beattie, David Self, and Bill Mastrosimone.
After getting a degree in theater at Kenyon College, OH, Chris started out as an on-set production assistant on THE SOPRANOS in his first real job out of college, and spent two years at Tippett Studio in Berkeley, CA learning VFX on major movies like MATRIX: REVOLUTIONS and CONSTANTINE. He was assistant to director Breck Eisner during production of THE CRAZIES, developing projects for all the major networks and studios. He was the first in-house director at Fullscreen, a major digital production company that was acquired by AT&T.
He has worked for major brands like AT&T, Amazon, Facebook, Figs, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, networks like HBO, Bravo, Fox, YouTube Red, and VH1, and movie studios such as Warner Brothers, Universal, and Paramount. He was a producer on two recent seasons of the show TOP CHEF for Bravo TV, and directed over 25 different branded spots for Fullscreen's AT&T-backed series SUMMER BREAK. He co-created and directed three seasons of the horror web series, FIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD, (10+ million views) which was one of the most successful shows in the first years of YouTube Red. In 2020 he directed and produced a comedy short film, BRYERS CUCUMBER TOSTINOS, starring Patrick Tamisiea and Kevin Pollak that toured over 40 small film festivals across the world, garnering multiple plastic trophies. In 2022, he directed another comedy short, THE PERFECT FIRST DATE, that has performed at the Sherman Oaks Film Festival, the Newport Beach Film Festival, and at the 2023 Austin Revolution Film Festival.
